After many years (Covid had nothing to do with it), this past Sunday I made my return to the Pomona Swap Meet . As an outsider looking in, I’m truly fascinated by this show- people show up bright and early, dragging their wagons (not that wagon) with cash in hand looking for that particular part for the car that they’re building. And if you can’t be bothered building a car from the chassis up, you can just buy the car completely done or with minor tweaking that needs to be done. If you wanted to see some gorgeous cars, you can do that as well. Although I was given grief about my hat at times (it was all in jest, but it’s still Knicks in Five, Let’s Go Yankees, BX All Day), I had an amazing time. I’ll be back one of these days.
