Tamu Sana Kanyama Preparatory Academy is an Accredited High School. and My Way Home School Collective was born.
Our mission is to inspire a commitment to scholarship, family, and community while maintaining a standard of excellence manifested through academics, creative arts & media technology. In 2008, with their oldest daughter preparing to enter high school, Aynda and Bobby Jackson reached a crossroad. Unwilling to give over the responsibility of their child's education to the public school system and at a loss for a high school in their area with an African centered curriculum, they decided to expand on their non-profit youth ministry NSM, Inc. After their second graduating class, the school decided to change its name in honor of life long educator, youth advocate and community activist Tamu Sana Kanyama. Her spirit and legacy of scholarship, challenge and change are embodied in the essence of the educational institute now known as TSK Preparatory Academy of Creative Arts and Media Technology. At TSK Prep, we are charged with the primary duty of molding scholars and building legacy!
