Construction Ready President & CEO Scott Shelar penned a guest op-ed that appears in today’s edition of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Scott makes the case that college isn’t a one-size-fits-all option for today’s youth, and that young men and women who pursue a career in the skilled trades can expect job security, competitive pay and no student debt.
It’s an important message—one that our team espouses every day as we seek to train and connect men and women for rewarding careers in the industry.
At Synergy Development Partners, we get to work with some pretty incredible people every day, from our clients and partners to our architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and the people doing the work in the field.
Construction Appreciation Week gives us a good reason to say it out loud: we appreciate the people we get to build with!
Thanks for trusting us with your projects, your ideas, and your vision. We’re proud to be part of this community and even prouder of what we’re building together.

This Labor Day Weekend, Synergy Development Partners honors the legacy of A. Philip Randolph, a pioneering Black labor leader who fought for fair wages, better working conditions, economic opportunity, and dignity for working people. His leadership helped change the American labor movement and laid important groundwork for the fight for jobs and freedom.
At Synergy Development Partners, we know that strong communities are built by people who show up, put in the work, and take pride in what they build. Randolph’s legacy reminds us that the value of work extends far beyond the jobsite. It is about opportunity, dignity, and building a better future.
This Labor Day, we honor the workers who continue to build Atlanta and the leaders who fought to make sure their work was valued.

Today, Synergy Development Partners honors the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved Americans and celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of Black communities across our country.
As a Black-owned business in Atlanta, we recognize the significance of Juneteenth, not only as a moment in history, but as a reminder of the progress made and the work that continues. In a city shaped by the fight for civil rights, Juneteenth is an opportunity to reflect, learn, celebrate, and recommit to building a more equitable future.
