Ron Capps

Don "the Snake" Prudhomme checks on me pretty much daily with a text or a call to make sure I'm good, and then once in a while to remind me (as if the Vipe 🐍 wasn't one of my childhood heroes) that he was... In the words of the great Ron Burgandy.... He is Kind of a big deal 🤏

Roy Brizio Street Rods Inc

Meet the San Mateo County Historical Association's 2026 History Maker: Roy Brizio.

For nearly five decades, Roy has turned a lifelong passion for hot rods into an internationally respected legacy of craftsmanship, creativity and community.

From learning to weld and fabricate alongside his father, legendary hot-rod builder Andy "The Rodfather" Brizio, to building award-winning cars at Roy Brizio Street Rods in South San Francisco, Roy has helped make the Peninsula a destination for automotive craftsmanship.

Join us in celebrating Roy at the San Mateo County History Makers Dinner on September 25 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foster City.
