A special congratulations to Sincere Shakur, an Atlanta College & Career Academy student and Atlanta Technical College Dual Enrollment student, who was named the Georgia Dual Enrollment Student of the Year!

Sincere is currently enrolled in Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Early College Essentials, showcasing the impact of dual enrollment on student success.
We are also incredibly proud of our four state officers who volunteered throughout the event, representing Atlanta Tech with professionalism, leadership, and Bulldog pride.

Atlanta Technical College Main Campus Update: All Clear

Atlanta Technical College will be open for evening classes on Monday, September 21.

We will also resume regular business operations and all classes on Tuesday, September 22.

Atlanta Technical College is grateful for a $50,000 grant from the AGL Foundation to support our Natural Gas Technician Certification Program. This investment will help prepare students for rewarding careers in the energy industry by providing valuable training and workforce opportunities.

Today, Atlanta Technical College joined Atlanta Metropolitan College in a meaningful 9/11 Remembrance Program to honor the lives lost and reflect on the resilience that emerged from one of our nation’s most defining moments.
The program included a moment of silence, remarks from leaders representing both institutions, and a special commemorative presentation by Dr. Paul Thompson, PhD, who shared his personal experience of September 11, 2001. His powerful reflections provided a firsthand perspective on the events of that day and the lasting impact they continue to have on our communities and country.
We are grateful to all who participated in this important observance and helped ensure that we never forget the lessons, sacrifices, and spirit of unity that emerged from tragedy.
