A community of volunteers who create special tours for individuals with autism and their families, every first Saturday of the month.
We all know and understand that the airport setting, next to travel can be a stressful experience for all of us. This is especially true for individuals with autism. The objective is to create a rehearsal program that allows the airport and the airplane experience to be less of a scary scenario.
Just because our brains are wired differently does not mean we are clueless and don’t understand something. However, I find that most people who treat us this way never bother to get to know us and don’t care. Why? Everything else is so much more important
