Word of advise…. The lock on the left is intended for children who are learning to lock their bikes, also to use to keep your roommates or co-workers from taking your bike or your pannier/ helmet. This lock will not prevent a bike thief from stealing your bike. The lock on the right is 4x more expensive yet will deter & protect your bike from the average bike thief.
Always consider spending at least 10% of your bikes replacement cost on security. This includes locks/ trackers/ locking skewers. Notice the plural “Locks”. Not 1….

Wednesday, September 30 is the last race of the season at Dick Lane Velodrome. And with $4,000 on the line, we’re going to finish this thing properly.

Not to be melodramatic, but it will also be the last night Wayne will be President, announcer, and wearer of many hats at DLV. After 30 years, he’s finally handing over the microphone and turning in his keys. Next year, he plans to be on the other side of the boards racing — and, we’re sure, causing a plenty of headaches for new management.

For this final night, join the team of Barman, Wayne, Gary, Elizabeth, Chuck, Jessica and Casey, who have worked hard to bring you racing all season. They’re teaming up one last time to blow the roof off the place.

(Wait. There’s no roof.)
