As you know, the Fake Clinics Suck campaign and supporters like YOU have been working to stop a fake clinic in Gwinnett, Georgia — Georgia Wellness Group (GWG) — from continuing to get federal dollars. Our organizing and advocacy worked!! GWG did not get the funding they requested for 2026!

This is a huge WIN thanks to all of you who took action to say we don't want public funding going to misinformation and harm to pregnant people! When we organize, we win! Special shoutout to Representative Marvin Lim, who has been sounding the alarm about GWG getting federal funding in his district for years! Thank you for all you do and for being such a strong RJ champion!

UPDATE: we will NOT be gathering at Atlanta City Hall today — please stay tuned for the Advocacy Day’s new date. We have more work to do before the legislation can be introduced. Atlanta, we need you in the room!

On Monday, August 3rd, Councilmember Kelsea Bond is introducing updated pregnancy decriminalization legislation at city hall, and the council will vote. Amplify has been working to strengthen the city's existing decrim protections, including new safeguards against surveillance.

Meet us at city hall at noon to sign up for public comment. Let's pack the room and make it clear: surveillance has no place in reproductive justice.

Pauline Binam is a 36-year-old Black migrant, survivor of domestic violence, and single mother who has lived in the U.S. for over 34 years. She’s been detained at Stewart Detention Center for nearly 6 months. Pauline belongs with her family, not in detention.
