Who wants to do ROTI RESCUE this weekend?

This time, since FoodCommune will be closed, YOU distribute the roti to people yourself, and bring NONE of it to FoodCommune.

Donor location is in Norcross, on Jimmy Carter Blvd just north of I-85. This location is 16 miles, 25 mins drive North from FoodCommune. 🚗

Donation is clean, no sorting needed. Also, it is already organized, gathered, and contained in handled, white "Kroger bags." All that you have to do is just put these white bags inside of your vehicle: back seat or trunk?

Donation amount is ~20 white "Kroger bags," ~8 lbs per bag ... ~160 lbs total. No special vehicle needed.

After you pick up THE ENTIRE DONATION THAT THE DONOR HAS FOR US, please take all that you want from it for your own household, ... and then share any remaining bags/packages with friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, random strangers, etc.

It's Th 9/17/2026 morning. These 2 pics here are from this past weekend -- Farmer Rodrigo 2 loads:
1) load #1 of 2 -- Saturday night 9/12, 11p.
2) load #2 of 2 -- Sunday evening 9/13, 7p.

Zero waste: great. 👍
But a lot of people-quality food was in each of these 2 loads. We would prefer that this good food go to people rather than to animals.

We rescued A LOT more food this morning! 😯

-- 6 boxes other cold foods like yogurts, eggs, milks, prepared meals.
-- 6 boxes misc produce.
-- 1 jumbo square box of breads and desserts.

👍 The good news is that we just marked down the oranges and plums, from Qty 16 to Qty 24. Now, 24 oranges or 24 plums = 1 unit = $4 ($3 for Prepays).
👎 The bad news is that you have to wait 11+ hrs until you can come get em! Lol.

Yummy SMOKED CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS we rescued last-minute this round, on Saturday early afternoon!

That's 54 gallons of DRUMSTICKS! ~ 250 lbs total! From the Atlanta Food and W**e Festival that got rained out on Saturday. 🍷☂️
