Today we celebrate ONE YEAR at Goodr Community Market on Edgewood! This is your reminder to act on your idea and see the vision through! Owner Jasmine Crowe Houston had an idea for an affordable grocery store and deli that serves fresh, hot meals for the community. 💚 Now one year later, we’ve served thousands of meals are a staple on Edgewood! Our “Food is Medicine” mobile grocery store, in partnership with Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, continued its tour with a stop in Lafayette Parish, bringing fresh, nutritious food directly to the community.
As Nikesha Rodrigue, Lead Director of Marketing and Community Development for Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, shared: “We know that you are what you eat, so we want them to put nutritious things into their body. Maybe they don’t have access to it, but that’s why we are here—to meet them where they are to provide that service.”

As June comes to a close, we want to highlight our incredible partnership with Wellstar Health System and their commitment to educating our community for Men’s Health Month. Our Wellstar x Goodr Mobile Markets provides fresh (free) groceries and additional educational resources for up to 85 families at each stop.
