From presentation to install to the finished space — this one came together exactly as we hoped.

The Ryan Cottage kitchen and dining area is all about warm materials and really good natural light. Window-covered walls meet white oak cabinetry, porcelain countertops, burnished brass pendants, and a custom dining table, while the beveled opening between the two rooms adds an architectural detail we’ll never get tired of.

Finished with leather dining chairs and barstools for a little warmth and contrast. Proof that a neutral palette can still have plenty to say.

We have strong opinions about fireplaces. Naturally.

They’re often the architectural anchor of a room, so we consider every detail — the scale, surround material, mantel, millwork, lighting, and how the whole composition relates to the space around it.

Whether it’s stone, plaster, tile, or something a little less expected, we want it to feel intentional, integrated, and worthy of being the focal point.

Happy first day of Fall. 🍁

As we enter this new season, it’s the perfect time to layer your home with subtle autumn touches. Think plush throws, rich wood tones, fall greenery, and cozy accents that feel both timeless and seasonal.

The shift in decor doesn’t have to be overt – focus on creating a cozy, warm, and inviting space for the chillier months to come.

Timeless, but never boring. The primary bathroom at Cuscowilla pairs a soft, neutral palette with thoughtful details — from reeded cabinetry to a sculptural chandelier that adds just the right amount of interest.

Quiet, elevated, and designed to feel like a retreat at the end of the day.

A bathroom vanity is hardworking by nature, but practical doesn’t have to mean predictable. From warm wood and painted cabinetry to floating silhouettes, furniture-inspired pieces, statement stone, and unexpected hardware, the options are nearly endless.

Proof that even the most functional piece in the room can have a little fun.

Moody doesn’t have to mean dark and heavy. The best moody rooms are layered — rich color, warm wood tones, natural stone, sculptural lighting, and plenty of texture.

A kids’ space without making it too childish. The second-floor living room at our Longview project was designed as a central gathering spot between the kids’ bedrooms, with soft upholstery, plenty of texture, and storage that works hard behind the scenes.

Built-ins balance open shelving with closed cabinets for hiding the less photogenic toys, while an extra pocket of space by the stairs became the coziest little book nook. Playful and comfortable for now, but designed to grow right along with them.

Good design is in the details — and so is a good process. From the first concept to final installation, our design phases keep projects thoughtful, organized, and moving forward.

The end of the bed deserves a little attention, too. A bench, pair of ottomans, or upholstered armchairs can add texture, color, and another layer of comfort to a bedroom.

Will it eventually become a beautifully designed landing spot for yesterday’s outfit? Probably. But it can still look good doing it.
