My mind never really stops. I’m always creating, thinking, designing, reinventing, and searching for the next way to use the gifts God gave me.
I have worked long hours. I have poured into people, businesses, productions, clients, students, and dreams. I have created beauty behind the chair, beyond the chair , in film and television, inside senior communities, and during some of the most challenging seasons of my own life.
I’ve been celebrated. I’ve been overlooked. I’ve been encouraged. I’ve been doubted. I’ve battled breast cancer, depression, disappointment, and moments when I questioned whether I had the strength to keep going.
But one thing about Joscynthia Mason—I may pause, I may pivot, recharge but I do not quit.
I’m believe in myself as deeply as I have always believed in everyone else. I recognize the value of my experience, my creativity, my voice, and the powerhouse I have always been.
I am still here.
Still gifted.
Still growing.
Still creating.
Still becoming.
And I am nowhere near finished.

With everything happening in the world today, families need a safety plan. Phones can be turned off, taken, damaged, or used by someone other than the owner. GPS locations can also stop updating or become unreliable.
This isn’t about controlling anybody—it’s about caring enough to recognize when something isn’t right.
Know your loved one’s normal routine. Pay attention to their timeline and expected arrival time. Create a family code word. Keep emergency contacts written down somewhere besides your phone. If a message doesn’t sound like the person you love, don’t ignore that feeling—call, verify, and check on them.
Someone could be caught in a major accident, injured, hospitalized, stranded, or experiencing an emergency and unable to communicate. Location sharing is helpful, but it should never be your family’s only safety measure.
I love my children. I love my mother. I love my family and my friends—and their ethnicity, background, or location does not matter. Every life matters to somebody.
We must become more aware, more accountable, and more intentional about checking on the people we love. Please have this conversation with your family today—and share this video with someone you care about.
Some people may never realize how much a simple text, phone call, hug, prayer, or “I’m thinking about you” can mean.
To everyone who has checked on me, prayed for me, encouraged me, listened to me, loved on me, and simply showed up for me… thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
My breast cancer journey didn’t end when treatment ended. Survivorship is a blessing, but it’s also a mental, emotional and financial journey that continues every single day. Some days are easier than others, but knowing I have people in my corner has made all the difference.
Your kindness has reminded me that I’m never fighting alone. You’ve helped me smile when I wanted to cry, find strength when I felt weak, and keep believing in brighter days ahead.
Thank you for loving me through the highs, the lows, the victories, the setbacks, and everything in between. I don’t take a single prayer, message, hug, or act of kindness for granted.
I’m still here.
I’m still healing.
I’m still growing.
And by God’s grace… I’m thriving.
I love and appreciate each and every one of you more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for being part of my journey. ❤️

It is a privilege to be recognized alongside such incredible women from across our state. A huge thank you to The Honorable Erica Thomas () and Representative Miriam Paris () for this honor and for recognizing excellence across our community.
I’m looking forward to celebrating with my fellow honorees at the State Capitol! 🏛️!

I just want to take a moment to pause and say thank you.
Life has a way of stretching you, growing you, and sometimes testing you in ways people never see. Many of the things I walk through, I walk through quietly. But in this moment, I simply want to be grateful.
Grateful for the opportunities that are here.
Grateful for the opportunities that are still on the way.
Grateful for the strength to keep going even when the road isn’t easy.
I’m thankful for my doctors, my treatment teams, my clients who trust me, my children who love me, and the people who continue to support me along this journey.
I am deeply honored to be recognized by the Georgia House of Representatives as one of Georgia’s 100 Women of Excellence at Women’s Day at the Capitol.
Thank you to Representative Miriam Paris, the standing committees, the State of Georgia, and all of the phenomenal women being honored.
This recognition means so much, not because of the spotlight, but because it reminds me that perseverance, service, and faith never go unnoticed.
To anyone who may be walking through something quietly — keep going.
Keep pushing.
Keep being kind.
Keep showing up.
Keep praying.
Keep believing in yourself even when things feel heavy.
God is in control, and I give Him all the glory and all the thanks.
Grace carried me, faith sustained me, and purpose keeps me moving forward.

Stepping into this last quarter of the year has been full of love and overflowing joy. I wasn’t shaken by what was thrown at me. I didn’t slip on the icy-cold comments meant to hurt me, and I didn’t dry up under the callous, heated actions meant to burn me.
Every tear I shed only watered the greatness God planted in me — and that harvest is unstoppable. God is elevating me, boldly and publicly.
And I refuse to shrink for anyone.
Yes, I’m powerful.
Yes, I’m phenomenal.
Yes, I am an icon — and I won’t apologize for it.
Most victories are won in the last few minutes of the game. And the truth is, the last quarter is where people get careless — either because they think they’re ahead, or they want to look ahead. Too afraid to trust the talent on their own team, too fearful to let someone else’s greatness help them win. And that’s how people fumble the very ones sent to bless them.
So to you, I say this with love:
This quarter has been beautiful, and the year ahead will be even greater. Be blessed… and remember: fumbled people turn into victories.
