FirstWorks Soccer Academy

FirstWorks Soccer's mission is to transform the lives of low-income youth and families through the game of soccer and life skills training. We are making that vision a reality by making soccer available at a competitive level in urban, collegiate communities, starting the with the English Avenue and Greater Vine City communities of SW Atlanta, Georgia. FirstWorks currently partners with other nonprofits and organizations already impacting the lives of youths. We are creating a bridge between the college campuses and the surrounding communities. With these tools we are exposing youth beyond their environment to create mental images of what their lives could be. Our Aims:

To make soccer "second nature" and affordable in low-income unserved and underserved communities. To increase self-esteem of low-income youth through participation in an organized and supportive program of team activities. To build positive social and life skills, while creating a fun environment for each player to enjoy.
