More often than not we stay in tents and use hole-in-the-ground (literally!) shared latrines for our conservation work, but on the rarest of occasions we are treated to an experience like this. To rise and slumber with the tides of the Mozambique Channel while endangered lemurs danced through nearby trees foraging for ripe breakfast fruit was truly one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. .
