🇺🇸 America 250 | One Nation Under God 🇺🇸

“For He Himself is our peace… His purpose was to create in Himself one new humanity out of the two…”
Ephesians 2:14-15

In God we trust. In liberty we persevere. In one another we find our strength.

America’s freedom was never manufactured by government. It was endowed by our Creator and preserved by generations of ordinary people willing to sacrifice for something greater than themselves.

Today, we honor every generation that helped shape this nation. Native peoples who first cared for this land. Patriots who secured independence. Enslaved Africans whose labor helped build America’s agricultural strength and economic foundation. Immigrants, innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, soldiers, and families from every background who expanded the promise of liberty.

Their stories are not separate chapters. They are one American story.

As a Black woman, my political home is conservatism because I believe freedom carries responsibility, opportunity requires accountability, and faith must remain at the center of our national character. That perspective may be uncommon, but I have learned that leadership is not measured by comfort. It is measured by conviction.

America 275 and America 300 are no longer distant milestones. They belong to the children we are raising today and to the leaders we choose to become.

My grandmother lived to 103. My great-grandmother lived to 101. If God grants me years still to come, I pray they will be spent as a faithful disciple, stewarding the gifts He entrusted to me and using my voice in service to truth, wisdom, and the common good.

There was a time when I hesitated to speak. Life taught me that conviction is not something to hide. It is something to steward.

May America continue to become a nation worthy of the principles proclaimed in 1776 and fulfilled through each generation that chooses faith over fear, unity over division, and service over self.

Toward America 275. Toward America 300. Under God, together.

💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

Today we celebrate the men who show up.

The fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, adoptive fathers, mentors, coaches, pastors, uncles, and father figures who make life more enjoyable, more secure, and more loving for the people who depend on them.

Strong families are built on sacrifice, leadership, protection, wisdom, and love.

To the dads who work long hours, pray over their families, teach life lessons, protect their homes, attend games and recitals, help with homework, and lead by example…

Thank you.

Your presence matters.
Your leadership matters.
Your love matters.

The world needs strong fathers, and today we honor the role you play in shaping the next generation.

“Dads are important. Today and every day.”

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads! 🇺🇸

Question: What’s one lesson your father, grandfather, or father figure taught you that still guides your life today?

🇺🇸 Happy Juneteenth! ❤️🖤💚

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Today is a celebration of freedom, faith, perseverance, and the resilience of a people who endured extraordinary hardships and still helped build one of the greatest nations in the world.

To every descendant of the enslaved:

You are free.
You are strong.
You are God’s child, capable of all things according to His plan.

Your ancestors endured, sacrificed, innovated, served, built, fought, and believed in a better future for generations they would never meet.

Juneteenth is a reminder that African Americans born in this country are Americans with African roots. Our story is woven into the American story. Our contributions helped shape this nation, and America belongs to us too.

We did not overcome adversity to surrender our place in this country. We overcame adversity to fully participate in the promise of liberty and justice for all.

As we honor the past, let us continue building stronger families, stronger communities, and a stronger America for future generations.

🇺🇸 JUNETEENTH IS MORE THAN A DATE. IT’S A DECLARATION:
WE ARE FREE.
WE ARE PROUD.
WE ARE AMERICAN.

Happy Juneteenth!

🇺🇸 It’s time to unify the conservative ticket.

At the top of the Georgia Republican ticket stands a candidate who embodies the .

From poverty, a mother battling alcoholism, and time spent in foster care, to building one of the nation’s largest healthcare companies, Rick Jackson’s story is one of perseverance, faith, and determination. He understands struggle because he has lived it.

Throughout Georgia, he often says:

“I’ll never forget where I came from or what it’s like to be hungry.”

As Governor, Rick Jackson has made educational freedom a top priority because every child deserves opportunity, regardless of their ZIP code.

As we move through 2026, perhaps it’s time to redefine what “Black Girl Magic” means.

To me, it means refusing to be confined by stereotypes.

It means being judged not by the color of your skin, but by the content of your character and strength to be an independent thinker.

It means reading, researching, thinking critically, asking questions, standing on principle, and having the courage to hold convictions that may not follow the crowd.

True empowerment is knowing that your identity comes from God, not from a political party, a social movement, or a system.

Faith teaches us that we were created with purpose. Leadership requires the courage to walk that purpose, even when the path is unpopular.

To my fellow Black women:

Your values are on the ballot.

Your family’s future is on the ballot.

Don’t lease your vote. Invest it.

Choose leaders based on researching their record over political rhetoric.

There is tremendous value in supporting candidates who see you as more than a vote and who are willing to earn your trust through action.

GEORGIA!!!!!
Today is the last day to vote!
I know many of you haven’t done your research and that’s fine- we’ll not really 😘

BUT THAT’S OKAY.

DON’T LET THE RAIN STOP YOU

I did the research for you.
VOTE REPUBLICAN

If you care about school choice!

If you are a woman and you feel like your rights haven’t been taken- and it’s the media pushing a narrative!

If you want lower taxes!

If you are able to vote in every election and things have gotten easier to vote- and the media are pushing a narrative that people can’t be l vote anymore!

If you want more money in your pocket after taxes!

If you think things should go back to old school ways- families loving each other; children learning, minorities with firm unshakable values, and understanding as a Black American we got hear not by choice- but since we are here now, the dream is ours too!

You want to learn skilled trades that pay $100,000 and up versus thinking food stamps and free cheese will survive the Ai era!

You KNOW your children can excel if given the right opportunity in school that you choose vs your zip code choosing for you!

Last, no party is perfect. There are people in each party that need prayer 🤦🏽‍♀️- but letting a few bad apples make a bad voting decision…. IS ACTUALLY COSTLY!

🇺🇸 YOUR VOTE MATTERS.

Whatever your background.
Whatever your income.
Whatever your zip code.

📍It’s primary season across America.

If you’ve never voted before, PRACTICE.

✅ Walk into a polling location.
✅ Look for the signs that say “VOTE HERE.”
✅ Friendly poll workers will help guide you.
✅ If you’re at the wrong location, they’ll tell you where to go.

No more excuses.
No more sitting on the sidelines.

🗳️ VOTE.

In Georgia, you do NOT have to register with a political party. When you vote in a primary, simply select the Republican ballot on the screen.

What you value is on the ballot.

Vote Republican if you value:

📚 School Choice
🔍 Government Transparency
⚖️ Government Accountability
👮 Safe Communities
💰 Lower Taxes
🗣️ Freedom of Speech
🚀 Entrepreneurship
🔧 Trades & Apprenticeships
💪 Empowerment Over Dependency
📖 Literacy, Opportunity & the American Dream

I switched parties because I believe the words written into law matter more than political slogans.

Laws impact classrooms.
Laws impact families.
Laws impact communities.

📚 Reading is fundamental.

Education should be everyone’s priority.

Illiteracy begets illiteracy.

An informed citizenry requires readers, thinkers, and engaged voters.

🇺🇸 True civic engagement starts with reading, learning, and showing up to vote.

🇺🇸 IT’S NOT OVER. VOTE IN THE RUNOFF. 🇺🇸

✝️ Following the crowd should not be your compass. God is.

The Atlanta Press Club hosted a State School Superintendent runoff debate between the two Republican candidates. One of these men will face a
Democrat woman, who won her primary without a runoff.

🎓✏️✂️REPUBLICAN RUNOFF FOR EDUCATION
One candidate comes from one of the smallest school districts in Georgia. The other has served in leadership during a period when literacy outcomes have continued to decline.

In November, the Republican nominee will face a Democratic woman. Democrats have women up and down their statewide ticket. Republicans have men up and down theirs.

Both Republican candidates are products of the existing status quo education system- so is the Democrat (except she is a teacher vs a local school superintendent).

What stood out to me on the campaign trail was not what was said, but what wasn't (from anyone).

I did not hear a serious conversation about:
📊Accountability
💰Following the money
🕵🏼‍♀️Auditing outcomes
📚Return on investment
🏛️DOGE the DOE

Georgia spends approximately 52% of its state budget on education, nearly $20 BILLION
every year.

For months, I traveled across Georgia talking to parents, teachers, school leaders, taxpayers, and voters. One thing is clear: Georgia is not getting the educational return it should be receiving on a $20 BILLION
investment.

In many ways, voters are being asked to choose between two different versions of the status quo.

One appears to have the establishment spending heavily ($1 MILLION) to help secure his victory. The other was once the preferred choice of that same system, until the system decided it wanted someone else.

I am not endorsing either candidate.

Voters should watch the debate, examine their records, ask tough questions, and decide for themselves.

WATCH THE DEBATE
➡️ https://youtu.be/GeD1iQ-ViPQ

The winner will oversee billions of taxpayer dollars and help shape the future of 1.7 million Georgia students.

Make an educated decision to vote for the person you think should manage your $20 BILLION investment for the next four years.
