The air in your neighborhood matters to us too. Which is why we invest in cleaner, high-efficiency backup power equipment specifically to protect the air quality of the neighborhoods around our facilities.

We will further protect local air quality by equipping all emergency backup generators with additional exhaust treatment. We also will strictly limit routine equipment testing to pre-approved, non-disruptive time windows.

We will verify ongoing compliance through mandatory re-testing at regular intervals.

Water is one of the most precious resources a community has. We don't take that lightly. Local water and natural water resources are irreplaceable, so we don't treat water use as an afterthought. Every facility's design accounts for local conditions, smart resource management, and what the surrounding community actually needs.

Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX works closely with local water utilities to protect supplies for the community. We select the cooling method that delivers the most efficient use of resources for each site, including closed loop, waterless, and other eco-friendly designs. The focus is always to arrive at the most ecologically friendly cooling solution in order to conserve water and minimize impacts on the surrounding environment.
