๐ŸŠFarewell, Florida...๐ŸŠ

๐Ÿ‘‰On this day in 2003, rock band Yellowcard released their fourth studio album "Ocean Avenue". Yellowcard, known for their distinctive sound and prominent use of violin, originally formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997. "Ocean Avenue" was named after "Ocean Boulevard" in their hometown, with the name changed because it was too hard to rhyme "Boulevard". The album served as a farewell to Florida sunsets and youthful days gone by, as the group had recently migrated to California in 2001.

The album received great reception across the scene, and has reached acclaim as one of the greatest pop-punk albums of all time.
