The verdict against Lincoln Bancorp LLC includes $44 million in compensatory damages and $120 million in punitive damages.

It's the largest s*x trafficking verdict in U.S. history.

Newton County deputies responded to a shooting today in the area of Oak Manor Drive.

Investigators believe the shooting was domestic-related. One person was taken to a local hospital who was expected to survive.

Deputies arrested one person. The agency hasn’t released the identities of those involved or details about what led to the shooting.

Newly obtained arrest warrants reveal disturbing details about the discovery, including allegations that the suspect was spotted carrying a plastic container holding a dismembered torso.

Kingston Lammar Bradley, 18, is charged with felony concealing the death of another person.

According to news release from the Smyrna Police Department, officers responded to a missing person call around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at Park Valley Apartments, 4590 Valley Parkway.

According to an arrest warrant obtained a short time ago, a witness spotted Bradley carrying a plastic tub through an open area of the apartment complex between 8 p.m. and 8:28 p.m.

Investigators allege Bradley dropped the container on a dirt walkway and fled to his nearby apartment after noticing the witness.

The container held a dismembered human torso, according to the warrant.

Investigators got a warrant to search Bradley’s apartment.

According to the arrest warrant, officers discovered bloodstains in several areas of the apartment and a large, bloody saw.

Investigators also reported a strong smell of bleach.

Police found a mop bucket containing water, a mop and a carpet cleaner inside the apartment.

The warrant alleges Bradley concealed the body and hindered efforts to determine whether the person had been unlawfully killed.

The woman’s identity has not been released.

The arrest warrant states that the remains were awaiting identification.

Bradley is currently charged with concealing a death. The provided warrant does not list a murder charge as of this morning.

The Smyrna Police Department said the homicide investigation remains active. Detectives continue collecting evidence and conducting interviews.
