MASS Collective
MASS Collective is an inclusive community workshop, educational facility and organization of artisans and makers located in Downtown Atlanta.
We are dedicated to lowering the barrier of entry to manufacturing equipment and design resources. We strive to provide a cutting edge, safe and collaborative space for makers, projects and concepts to evolve. Through our membership, apprenticeship, education and production programs we provide individuals and businesses affordable access to the tools, knowledge and training required to grow and thrive. Visit our website for more info on our ongoing programs and to apply for membership.

Member spotlight on Kinkle (It Is I.) who has been a member at MASS for a few years now and is currently in our apprenticeship program. He recently concluded an artist residency at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and debuted his first solo exhibition “Oh My God My Heart Is Ready.”
Kinkle states that he is “drawn to the idea that his life holds significance” and that photography allows him to “share that essence with the world.” The first photo you see here is a product of Kinkle starting a roll of film and only capturing the top of a door he was attempting to photograph… unreal.
Here’s just a portion of his work, check out his website (monsieurkinkle.com) to see all of his work shine.

We want to take a moment to highlight the works of Laura Sissoko (Laura Sissoko) of Laura Sissoko
Laura is a MASS member and teaches our Intro to Woodworking: Wood Basics and Four Squaring class. Laura is not only an unbelievably talented artist and furniture maker, but also a maker dedicated to responsible salvaging and environmentally conscientious practices benefiting Atlanta’s urban forest.
This first piece you see here is made from poplar, resin and plant material. Swipe to see a few more of Laura’s pieces (which is only a small lot of her work). Check out Laura Sissoko website to get the full experience.
