whatever this year was…
hard, lonely, disappointing, all of the above.

it doesn’t get to write your story.

god’s doing something new.

you don’t have to figure it out right now.

you just have to show up for whatever the next chapter is,
knowing the Author already knows how it ends. happy new year.

God doesn’t ask you to give money if you’re broke.

He doesn’t want you to give time if you’re depleted.

real generosity comes from overflow.

and right now, your job might just be to survive.

that’s enough.

give when you can, with what you have.

you’re allowed to have a bad day after a good week.

you’re allowed to regress.

you’re allowed to cry about the same thing twice.

healing isn’t a checklist you mark off and move on from.

sometimes, it’s a spiral.

you’re going up, and you may even pass through the same places again. just at a higher level, and always with God.

whatever happened.

whatever you think God’s waiting to punish you for.

whatever you believe makes you too much or not enough.

you’re not on trial.

you’re not one mistake away from being canceled by god.

his love isn’t conditional.

it’s not based on your performance.

you were never disqualified.

the diet culture, the fitness industry, the comparison game… none of it is God’s voice.

your body is His temple. that means caring for it, not punishing it.

feeding it.
moving it.
resting it.
honoring it.

not hating it.

see you tomorrow

you don’t have to be grateful for the bad thing.

but you can be grateful in it.

for the lesson.

for the growth.

for the way it’s reshaping you.

gratitude isn’t toxic positivity.

it’s a spiritual shift that opens your eyes to what’s still good,

even when things are hard.

Jesus wasn’t an abstract concept or a distant deity.

He was human.

He was tired, hungry, sad, angry, lonely.

He got it.

He gets you.

the incarnation isn’t just theology.
it’s God saying,
“anything you’ve been through,
I’ve walked through myself.”

Gos wants you to thrive, not just survive.

He’s not happier when you’re suffering.

your dreams matter to him.

pursuing what makes you come alive—
your gifts, what lights you up—
that’s not selfish.

that’s obedience.

dream big.
