In a fast-paced environment like Georgia Tech, taking time to slow down, breathe, and reflect is essential. Early this month, our community used art as a powerful tool for emotional well-being and mindfulness.

Here is a quick look at how we recharged at the Ferst Center:
• Exhibition & Panel: Exploring the deep bond between mental health and art.
• Printmaking: Crafting custom tote bags for emotional release with Jasmin Warnock.
• Neural Threads: Soothing the nervous system using natural textile dyes with Honey Pierre.
• Sound Bath: Tuning into pure rest and restoration with Ruby Velle.

Thank you to everyone who stepped away from the desks to create and reset with us. We hope to see you all back at GT Arts very soon for our next event! 🐝✨

Supported by a GT Arts Catalyst Grant, Biophilia explored the connections between art, technology and nature through physical paintings by Belinda Person and an immersive virtual experience created in collaboration with Professor Krystian Ramogan.
