A family-owned and operated business based in Atlanta, GA, with independent centers using our curriculum worldwide. Parents learn how to enrich their child's music environment, increase music potential and understand music development. The recordings feature jazz, classical, rock, blues, opera, African American spirituals, bluegrass, and traditional songs from all over the world. Families receive the recordings and songbooks each session to continue the musical learning at home. Our music collections have earned honors including The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval and The National Parenting Publications NAPPA Gold Award.

Winter session programs:
• Mixed age music and movement classes for 0-4
• Infant-only classes for pre-walkers in East Roswell, Kirkwood, and Virginia Highland
• Big Kid classes for 4-5 in Buckhead, Kirkwood, and Dunwoody
• Keyboard classes continue for those enrolled in fall
Winter session schedule:
• Classes start November 7
• No class Nov 23 - 29, Dec 19 - Jan 4, Jan 18
• Classes end February 7
(Winter is a 10-week session of classes that extends longer due to all the holiday breaks mid-session!)

Did you know that “Riding My Pony” from The Giraffe Collection was written by one of Mr. Rob’s keyboard 2 students?
The first year of our keyboard curriculum teaches children to play by ear and then read music notation. The second year of keyboard focuses on improvisation and composition, culminating in a songwriting project! Each student writes the lyrics, determines the form, and figures out the pitches, rhythms, and chords for their original composition. Mr. Rob puts together their arrangement, and each student records their own vocals.
“Riding My Pony” was composed and recorded by 6-year-old Nicholas Norwood. This is the incredibly adorable video his family put together as part of their final project. 🥰

The Music Class office had a “goodbye” lunch for Brigitte on Friday, our fantastic business manager who is retiring! “Goodbye” is in quotes because she will still be bringing her granddaughter to keyboard classes with Rob every Saturday for the next 2 years 🤣 When you become a part of The Music Class family - you stay a part of The Music Class family!! ❤️
We also want to officially welcome our new business manager Jeff to the team, who has also been a Music Class dad for years. Shout a hello to Jeff in the comments!! 👋❤️🤗
