June was a full-circle kind of month. 🌸
I had the honor of speaking at BWI's Local Small Business Spotlight, sharing my journey into the industry, the lessons that shaped me, and why creating space for local and minority-owned businesses in programs like this matters so much. I was also nominated for the 2026 AMAC Catalyst Awards.
In between the work, I made sure to prioritize what matters most — celebrating Father's Day with my dad. And to close out the month, I linked up with the Fraport team for a video shoot at BWI Smoothie King & Rita's (more on that soon 👀).
Growth doesn't always look like big milestones — sometimes it's showing up, sharing your story, and making room for others to do the same.
Onward to July. 🚀

Some days I wake up as a business owner.
Some days I'm a firefighter.
Most days? I'm both. 🔥
Running a franchise inside BWI Airport means no two days look the same. Something is always happening. Something always needs my attention. And I've learned that this — the chaos, the pivots, the constant problem-solving — this IS the job.
Not the polished version you see on highlight reels. The real version. The one where you figure it out as you go, stay calm on the outside, and keep building no matter what.

Failure is not the opposite of success. It's part of it. Every pivot, every hard season, every moment I wanted to quit — that's where the real growth was hiding. If you're in it right now, keep going. You're closer than you think. 💫
