Atlanta ISD provides a safe, caring, engaging, and innovative environment that encourages high expectations in all areas.

The Atlanta Independent School District is accredited by the Texas Education Agency. We are proud to share the achievements of Atlanta ISD students and staff, as well as other relevant community information and events through our district page. Atlanta ISD asks that you refrain from using profanity, racist or hate speech, making personal attacks or posting advertising. All posting of comments on this page are at the discretion of the page administrators. The intent of this policy is not to keep any negative or critical information from being posted but to protect the privacy and rights of Atlanta ISD staff and students. Naming specific employees or students in a negative way will not be allowed. The page administrators will review all postings to make sure they do not run afoul of the rules nor of the Acceptable Use Guidelines regarding Internet access and practices. We welcome your thoughts and comments and look forward to what you have to say. However, we will not leave postings that:
-Break the law or encourage others to do so. This includes remarks that are racist, homophobic and sexist, as well as those that contain obscenities or are sexually explicit.
-Easily identify students and/or staff in defamatory, abusive, or generally negative terms.
-Do not show proper consideration for others' privacy or are considered likely to offend or provoke others - i.e. don't pick fights or goad others into inflammatory debates.
-Are comments that are unrelated to the post or are spam - i.e. repeatedly posting the same comment or comments simply for advertising/promoting a service, product or ideology.
-Statements and links directed to medical claims.
-Comments made by imposter or fake accounts will be removed and the account banned. The page administrators reserve the right to not post or remove any comments at any time, for any reason...but we hope that won't ever be necessary. Thank you for being a fan of Atlanta ISD. 🧹❤️ They’re often the first to arrive, the last to leave and the reason our schools are ready for learning each day.
On School Custodian Appreciation Day, we’re celebrating the Atlanta ISD custodians who take care of much more than our buildings. They take care of our the classrooms where students learn, the gyms where we cheer, the cafeterias where we gather and the hallways where thousands of footsteps pass each week. 🐰
They clean up the spills, prepare for events, tackle the unexpected and make sure our students and staff have clean, welcoming spaces to call their own.
To our custodial teams across Atlanta ISD: we see your hard work, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful for the pride you take in caring for our schools. ❤️

🎉🐰 October is National Principals Month!
This month, we’re celebrating the principals who lead our Atlanta ISD campuses with heart, dedication and a commitment to helping students and staff succeed. ❤️
Our principals wear a lot of hats—encouraging students, supporting teachers, solving problems, celebrating successes and doing countless things behind the scenes to keep their campuses moving forward.
Join us in saying thank you to our Atlanta ISD principals for all they do for our students, staff and families! 👏🐰

Precautionary Boil Water Order
The City of Atlanta is currently under a precautionary boil water order.
As an added precaution, Atlanta ISD will provide bottled water to all students while the order is in effect.

❤️🐰 Atlanta ISD Parents: You're invited to join us for our next School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) meeting on Monday, Oct. 5!
SHAC provides an opportunity for parents to be involved in conversations about the health and wellness of our students. At this meeting, Shawn Mendoza will discuss current food service guidelines and the district's wellness policy.

🏐 LAST HOME GAME! 🏐
Tonight is a special one for our girls because it’s our LAST home game of the season and, for our 8th graders, the last home game they will ever play on this court as middle school athletes. ❤️
If you’re able, come out and support our Lady Rabbs as they take on Redlick! Let’s fill the stands, make some noise, and give these girls the support they deserve for their final home game. 🏐🐰
