About the Role
The Nice List Line is a year-round live video service where real, trained Santas talk one-on-one with children over video call — celebrating wins, encouraging good behavior, and creating magic any day of the year, not just December. We're hiring warm, quick-on-their-feet performers who can hold a genuine, age-appropriate conversation on camera and make every child feel like Santa truly sees them.
This is a flexible, part-time, contract role. Shifts are booked in advance through our scheduling platform; you work from home on your own camera setup.
What You'll Do
Conduct live, 5–10 minute video calls with children
Stay in character as a warm, encouraging Santa — reinforcing good behavior and celebrating milestones
Follow the Company's script framework and conduct guidelines on every call.
Keep a consistent, reliable schedule during peak season (November–December) and maintain some year-round availability.
Requirements
Must be 21 years or older.
Pass a national criminal background check, including sex-offender registry screening, prior to onboarding, and consent to periodic re-screening.
Reliable high-speed internet, a we**am, and a quiet, well-lit space suitable for video calls.
A genuine Santa look preferred (natural or costume/beard/wig — full costume and makeup guidance provided during onboarding) and the ability to maintain character convincingly on camera.
Comfortable talking with children of all ages (toddlers through pre-teens) and adapting tone accordingly.
Reliable availability for at least 10 hours/week during November–December; flexible scheduling the rest of the year.
Prior experience as a seasonal Santa, actor, childcare provider, teacher, or children's entertainer is a plus but not required — training provided.
Must complete Company training on call scripting, tone, and child-safety practices before taking live calls.
Agree to the Company's Independent Contractor Agreement, including platform-exclusivity and no direct contact with clients outside the booking system.
Compensation
$15–18 per Standard call (5 min), $22–25 per Rush/Same-Day call, $25–28 per Extended call (10 min) — paid weekly through the Company's platform.
At a sustainable pace of 4–5 calls/hour, this works out to roughly $60–90/hour equivalent during peak season.
Peak-season bonus: $2–3/call once you pass 50 completed calls in December, plus a completion bonus for finishing the full holiday season without cancellations.
