All the steps for my Absolute Batman #25 cover from layout to colors.

We've just finished making the fixes to the website for all Brigade members. If you are a member, could you please go to the site and make sure you can log in and see the membership blog? Also please specify if you are a monthly or annual member? We want to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Tomorrow at noon is the big one. We can finally start showing and offering our #25 variants to the masses starting with my personal variant. If you read #24 today, you know #25 is a huge issue that brings the first major storyline to a close and kicks off the next chapter for Bruce.

Tomorrow(Thursday) Sept 24th at 12 noon EST my last Absolute Batman cover for a bit drops at markbrooksart(dot)com. I put all I had into this one in an effort to bring you something epic. And yes, there will be a cardstock option! So set your alarms and remember that the drop happens at Eastern Standard Time to make sure you adjust for it if you're not in that time zone.

See you tomorrow!

On Thursday Sept 24th I will be dropping my latest Absolute Batman variant for issue #25. This is a huge issue that brings the first massive AB story arc to a close and begins the next chapter. I wanted to do something epic so I poured everything I have into this one. And yes, I actually drew Absolute Batman himself for the first time since issue #1. And yes, there will be a cardstock option for those who've been asking for it. More details for the public and Brigade sale tomorrow.

And with that I will be taking a bit of a break from the Absolute Batman universe. I'm not stopping but I'm going to take a few issues off to get some other work done and do a website overhaul that I think you all will dig. We will still be doing drops for other artists with one #25 drop that's going to land like a nuclear bomb. So this isn't good-bye from me but more a "see you later" while still giving you all the Absolute Batman goodness from our partnered artists every month.

I want to once again thank everyone for all their support over the months. You've proven that Absolute Batman isn't just a flash in the pan or next hot thing. You've shown that it's an amazing achievement by Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, and all the artists Scott's worked with to make it the best selling book month after month for over a year now. I've been privileged to be a very small part of it thanks to Scott and all of you that support and love the book. I can't thank you and him enough.

Lastly, here's an image you might be interested in. I did this last month for issue #24. If you got the Mystery Item for #24, you might be particularly interested.

See you Thursday!

Happy ! Flashback to my blueprint covers for Detective comics. Traditional marker and paint on board with hand drawn blueprint diagrams in white pen.
