5 TOP WELLNESS TIPS FOR MEN
Invest in the man you are becoming.
1. PRIORITIZE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH
Make space to check in with yourself. Talk about what you’re feeling, seek support when needed, and remember that strength includes vulnerability.
2. MOVE YOUR BODY
Exercise isn’t just about appearance. Stay active to support your energy, confidence, sleep, heart health, and overall well-being.
3. PROTECT YOUR PEACE
Set boundaries. Take breaks. Spend less time around people and situations that drain you and more time cultivating what restores you.
4. NURTURE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
Strong connections are essential to wellness. Communicate honestly, show appreciation, ask for help, and make time for the people who matter.
5. TAKE CARE OF YOUR WHOLE SELF
Eat well. Sleep enough. Stay connected to your purpose. Schedule your health screenings. Make time for pleasure, relaxation, spirituality, hobbies, and joy.
WELLNESS ISN’T SELFISH.
It’s how you show up fully—for yourself, your relationships, your family, and your future.

S*xual confidence is usually built through self-awareness, communication, and experience—not by trying to perform like someone else.
Here are some ways men can increase confidence in their s*xual performance -
1. Shift Focus From Performance to Connection 2. Learn What You Enjoy
3. Improve Communication Skills
4. Build Confidence Outside the Bedroom
5. Let Go of Comparison
6. Become Comfortable With Vulnerability
7. Practice Positive Body Acceptance
8. Develop Intimacy Skills
Use this Reflection Exercise -
Ask yourself:
1. What makes me feel desirable?
2. What s*xual strengths do I already have?
3. What fears show up during intimacy?
4. What would s*xual confidence look like for me specifically?
Answering these questions can help identify where your confidence is already strong and where you want to grow.
S*xual confidence isn’t about becoming fearless—it’s about becoming comfortable with yourself, communicating openly, and trusting that intimacy is something you create with a partner, rather than something you have to get right every time.

Therapy should be a space where people feel seen, heard, and valued without judgment. It should offer a safe space to explore life’s challenges, celebrate personal growth, and develop the tools needed to navigate relationships, emotions, and life’s transitions with confidence and clarity.
Therapy is not about being told what to do. It is about discovering your strengths, understanding your experiences, and creating meaningful change that aligns with your values and goals. It is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, authenticity, and respect.
At Therapy for You, we believe emotional well-being is the foundation for healthy relationships—with ourselves, our partners, our families, and our communities. When we understand our emotions, communicate effectively, establish healthy boundaries, and heal from past wounds, we create stronger and more fulfilling connections with others.
Our mission is to support individuals and couples in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional wellness. Whether you are working through relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, communication difficulties, intimacy concerns, or personal growth goals, Therapy for You provides a supportive environment where healing and transformation can occur.
Healthy relationships begin with a healthy relationship with yourself. Through evidence-based practices, compassionate guidance, and personalized care, we help clients build the skills necessary to foster trust, deepen connection, improve communication, and enhance overall well-being.
Therapy should empower you to live more fully, love more deeply, and move through life with greater confidence and purpose. At Therapy for You, we are honored to support you on that journey toward emotional wellness, healthier relationships, and a more pleasurable s*x life.

Men’s Mental Health Month: 10 Intimacy & S*xual Wellness Tips for Men
S*xual well-being and mental health are closely connected. Healthy intimacy can improve confidence, reduce stress, strengthen relationships, and support emotional wellness.
1. Communicate openly
Talk about desires, boundaries, concerns, and expectations with your partner. Honest conversations build trust and reduce anxiety.
2. Focus on connection, not performance
Intimacy is about mutual enjoyment and emotional connection, not meeting unrealistic standards or expectations.
3. Manage stress
Chronic stress can affect libido, arousal, and satisfaction. Exercise, mindfulness, therapy, and adequate rest can support s*xual wellness.
4. Prioritize emotional intimacy
Meaningful conversations, affection, and quality time often strengthen physical intimacy.
5. Get enough sleep
Quality sleep supports hormone balance, energy levels, mood, and s*xual function.
6. Take care of your physical health
Regular movement, balanced nutrition, and limiting excessive alcohol can positively impact s*xual health and confidence.
7. Challenge harmful masculinity myths
Strength includes vulnerability. Seeking support, expressing emotions, and asking for help are signs of self-awareness, not weakness.
8. Practice consent and mutual pleasure
Great intimacy is collaborative. Check in with your partner and focus on shared satisfaction and comfort.
9. Address concerns early
If you’re experiencing changes in desire, erectile difficulties, anxiety, or relationship challenges, speak with a healthcare provider or therapist.
10. Invest in your mental health
Anxiety, depression, grief, and burnout can affect intimacy. Supporting your mental health often improves your s*x life as well.

June is a powerful reminder that healing, authenticity, and emotional wellness matter for everyone.
At Therapy for You, we honor both National Pride Month and Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month by creating space for people to show up fully as themselves — without shame, fear, or judgment.
We celebrate the strength it takes to embrace your identity, speak your truth, ask for support, and prioritize your mental and emotional well-being.
To our LGBTQ+ community: you deserve love, safety, affirmation, and care.
To the men learning that vulnerability is not weakness: your feelings are valid, your struggles matter, and you do not have to carry everything alone.
Healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and supported. This month and every month, Therapy for You remains committed to helping individuals and couples build healthier relationships, deeper self-worth, emotional resilience, and more fulfilling lives.

Pleasure and intimacy aren’t just about s*x—they’re about presence.
A lot of people chase intensity (or***ms, new positions, more novelty), but what actually makes intimacy unforgettable is attention. When you’re fully attuned—listening to your partner’s breath, noticing their body language, letting yourself be seen without hiding—that presence is what makes touch electric.
Pleasure becomes more powerful when it’s layered with safety and vulnerability. When someone feels cherished and safe with you, their body naturally opens to deeper levels of arousal and release. Intimacy, then, is less about performance and more about creating a space where both of you can be your unfiltered selves.
Here are my 5 tips for focusing on pleasure and intimacy during your s*xual encounters -
1. Slow everything down
2. Get out of your head and into your body
3. Communicate desires without pressure
4. Create intentional space for connection
5. Build emotional intimacy outside the bedroom

Yes. It’s more than just s*x.
S*x is often the visible expression of something deeper.
Underneath it can be:
• Attachment – “Do you choose me?”
• Validation – “Am I desirable? Am I enough?”
• Connection – “Do you see me? Feel me?”
• Power or control
• Comfort or soothing
• Escape
• Reassurance of love
Sometimes when someone says, “You have an insatiable appetite for s*x,” what they’re actually reacting to isn’t libido — it’s intensity. It’s longing. It’s wanting closeness. It’s wanting to feel fully met.
So the real questions might be:
• What does s*x represent to you emotionally?
• What are you hoping to feel afterward?
• What feels missing when it’s not happening?
S*x can be pleasure.
It can be bonding.
It can be healing.
It can also be a signal.
What feels true for you right now?
Pleasure is powerful.
And it’s valid.
Pleasure isn’t shallow. It’s not “just physical.” It’s nervous system regulation. It’s aliveness. It’s embodiment. It’s agency. It’s joy. For a lot of people — especially those who’ve had to be strong, responsible, or self-protective for a long time — pleasure can feel like reclaiming something.
