“I never want to forget my future grandchildren the way my grandmother forgot me.”

This Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, we wanted to share a glimpse into why our Emory Healthy Brain Study does what we do. These handwritten brain cutouts reflect what so many of us carry into this work each day.

Behind every study, every clinic visit, every dataset and every breakthrough attempt is the same hope: more time, more clarity and more connection for the people we love.

🧠If you feel comfortable, we would love to hear your “why”, too. Share your story in the comments.
