Perspectives On

Equity means making sure people receive what they need to have a fair chance to thrive. It recognizes that not everyone starts from the same place, and justice requires removing barriers that keep people from full participation.

Social justice is the work of creating fair, equitable, and life-giving communities where every person has access to dignity, opportunity, resources, safety, and voice. It asks us to look beyond individual struggle and examine the systems that shape people’s lives.
