There’s a reason that price was so low… and it usually shows up the first time it rains. Cheap roofs aren’t cheap for long, they’re just an expensive problem on a delay 🫣🌧️ With Valor you’re not paying for a name, you’re paying for it done right the first time so we’re not both back up there next spring.

📲 You get what you pay for, call Valor today!

Ever had a roofer rattle off a bunch of words while you just nodded along? 😅 Yeah, you shouldn't have to feel lost about your own roof. So let's break down a few of the big ones.

Granules are your shingles' sunscreen, drip edge keeps water off the wood at your roof's edges, and underlayment is the backup layer keeping water out. Learn these three and you'll walk into any quote knowing exactly what they're talking about. That's what transparent actually means to me 🙌

📌 Save this one for when you need it!

Georgia summers are rough on a roof. ☀️⛈️

Between the heat baking your shingles every day and the storms rolling through, it’s not unusual to find a few things that need attention by this time of year. The good news is, most of those issues are a whole lot easier to fix now than after they’ve had another season to get worse.

That’s why I always recommend taking a look before fall gets here. A quick inspection can catch loose shingles, hail damage, or problem areas before they turn into leaks or expensive repairs.

If it’s been a while since your roof was checked, shoot me a message. I’d be happy to take a look. 🏠

One of the most common questions I get before a job 🤔 Good news, you don't have to take the day off work to get your roof replaced. My crew can tear off and install while you're gone, and with a project manager on site running the whole thing, the job goes exactly the same whether you're there or not.

But here's what matters to me, you shouldn't feel out of the loop on your own home just because you're not standing in the driveway. That's why I keep it simple. A project manager oversees every step on site, and you get a quick chat before, a walkthrough after, and photos the whole way through so you see everything 📸

Buying a home is exciting 🏡🎉 What many homeowners don't realize is that their pre-purchase inspection wasn't designed to provide a detailed evaluation of the roof's condition or remaining lifespan.

I've inspected plenty of roofs that looked fine from the ground but had aging components, previous repairs, or maintenance concerns that deserved a closer look.

The good news? Most of the time, it's simply about understanding what you own and planning ahead. If you bought a home within the last year and want peace of mind, I'd be happy to take a look.

Everybody wants the cheapest quote until they’re paying for the same roof twice 😬

I get it, nobody wants to overspend. But cheap materials and rushed labor don’t last, and two years later you’re back where you started, writing another check.

Doing it right the first time isn’t the expensive option. It’s the one that actually saves you money. That’s the transparent truth. 🙌

Everyone notices the shingles when the job’s done, but that’s only part of the story.

Before a single shingle goes on, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. From making sure the decking is solid to using the right materials and checking every detail along the way, that’s what sets a roof up to perform the way it’s supposed to.

Anybody can make a roof look good. I care a lot more about making sure it’s built right the first time. 🔨🏠

Have questions about your roof? Shoot me a message, I’m always happy to help.

🌧️ That waterfall coming over the front of your gutters? It’s not just annoying, it’s the start of a very expensive problem.

Here’s the part most homeowners don’t connect 👇

When water spills over instead of running through, it lands right against your foundation over and over again. I get calls all the time about washed out landscaping and settling issues, and when I ask when the gutters were last inspected, the answer is almost always “no idea.” 😬

That’s usually the whole problem right there.

Sometimes it’s a clog. Sometimes the gutters are undersized or pitched wrong. Sometimes they just need to be replaced. Either way it’s a couple grand at most to fix it now… or thirty to forty thousand later when a foundation company is out here doing repairs you never should’ve needed. 💸

Nobody wants that call. So don’t let it get there.

📲 Gutter and roof inspections are completely free. Call VALOR and let’s take a look before the next storm.

One thing I’ve learned after looking at hundreds of roofs is this…

It’s usually not the shingles that cause the biggest headaches. More often than not, it’s the small components around the roof that wear out first. Things like vent boots, pipe flashings, and clogged gutters don’t get much attention until they’re letting water where it doesn’t belong.

A quick inspection can catch these issues long before they become expensive repairs. That’s why I always tell homeowners: it’s better to know than to guess. 🏠

If it’s been a while since your roof’s been checked, I’d be happy to take an honest look.
