Me and Brandon Magnus didn’t mean to match, I swear…
I can’t forget about the gems shared at ATL Photo Night’s 10-year celebration at the Goat Farm. 📸
As someone who loves candid photography, I really appreciated hearing Brandon Magnus speak on his journey, his approach to staying curious, and the intention behind capturing moments that move fast but last much longer. His work across sports, portraiture, and live events is incredible, and his eye for both action and the in-between moments is something I deeply respect. As technical as Brendon’s career has moved from UFC coverage across five continents to leading photography and digital asset management for AMB Sports + Entertainment, including the Falcons, Atlanta United, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium; he shoots abstractly and I love it.
Grateful for the pointers, the story, and a room full of people who care about the craft. Shoutout to ATL Photo Night for continuing to create space for photographers and creatives to learn, connect, and grow.

I’m honored to announce that I’m joining the Atlanta Design Festival as a Cultural Curator + Festival Ambassador for its 2026 season.
This is a first of its kind role in a new chapter of the festival, rooted in the belief that design doesn’t only live in buildings, studios, galleries, or boardrooms. It lives in the communities, people, rituals, businesses, and cultural spaces that give a city its rhythm.
My focus will be helping shape and amplify DesignStations, public facing, community rooted activations that spotlight the creatives, entrepreneurs, business owners, cultural workers, and local leaders who create the pulse that draws the world to Atlanta.
Atlanta is full of brilliance that deserves infrastructure, investment, documentation, and room to grow. I want to help build the platforms and pathways that let that vision be seen, supported, and sustained, not just aesthetically, but socially and economically.
You have 4 days left to submit. If you’re a creative, architect, artist, designer, founder, chef, curator, community builder, venue owner, or cultural leader with an idea connected to design, longevity, community, or Atlanta’s future, submit it using “Cultural Curation” in your tag or subject line. Link in bio.

Aight boys, for the baby shower we mixing it up and switching it up. We officially FSA & HSA approved! Lmao I’m hosting a diaper run(over your shorts of course) on the belt line! (Ponce City Market entrance) Starting at 8:30 PM to give Atlanta time to cool down, the objective is to celebrate fatherhood by way of fun and curiosity. Questions will be asked by fellow belt line patrons and that gives us the opportunity to invite ppl into the parts of fatherhood that don’t get highlighted enough as we bring in a new superstar!
I didn’t forget, neither should you.
Be back soon.

There was a time when getting featured somewhere meant something different.
No landing pages built in an afternoon. No PR teams pitching your story to publications. Just platforms like VoyageATL, giving local creatives space to tell their own story in their own words, back when that was rare.
I remember reading these features years ago, watching Atlanta creatives get acknowledged for work that was already shaping the city’s pulse, long before anyone outside our circles noticed.
Today, I got to share my story and The Brilliance Exchange on that same platform.
Full circle doesn’t even cover it.
Grateful for VoyageATL, for the creatives who came before me on this platform, and for anyone willing to read where this idea came from and where it’s going.

This one will stay with me.(I hate I didn’t bring my camera)
Thank you to and for building the kind of space where artists, organizers, and neighbors can actually be in a room together without performance. That’s not small.
And thank you to everyone who brought their full selves. The energy was generous.
I don’t take that for granted; amazing job x x
Left this one differently than I expected to.
There was care in every part of it, not just in location or how the agenda was structured, but in how people actually talked and treated each other. Although this was an event meant to provide services, everyone came with the gift of giving. You could feel that someone put real thought into who was in the room and why.
Extremely grateful to for the invitation to the first exhibition and to .thingsmustbeheard for moving through the space at the way she did, with poetry and presence. .inspires dialed into exactly what all artists need right now as the world rapidly moves around us.
Thank you all for my first Midwest experience!

None of this happens without the people who showed up with their whole craft.
This city has builders in it. People who have been quietly holding culture together long before it was easy or visible. TBE is here to remind us all of that.
has been Atlanta’s sound system backbone for years. The kind of presence you feel before you understand why. They brought that to the space and it set the foundation for everything that followed.
has opened its doors to local talent again and again, creating space for feedback, growth, and experimentation when those spaces are hard to find. Hosting us was consistent with everything they already stand for.
is doing something rare in this city, a book club experience that actually meets people with quality and intention. That energy carried into the swap and people felt it. Check out their website!
brought ceremonial tea and coffee that made the room feel like somewhere worth staying. Something worth knowing; that same experience will be available for shipping soon. Watch for it.
And then there is and the family. A major pillar of the night. Stefan set up his full vinyl collection, including his own original presses, and turned his station into something closer to a masterclass. He educated diggers on the real culture of buying and selling records. That kind of knowledge sharing in a room like ours was exactly what TBE is built for.
These collectives and everyone like them are the backbone of Atlanta’s cultural forward mobility. They deserve their flowers loudly and often.
Thank you for continuously making this city what it is!
