Our clients are going to a camp out this weekend. We are short some tents and sleeping bags anyone have any to donate or willing to let them borrow for the weekend?

Hope in Polk Recovery Rally was a huge success ! Through out the entire day were 275 people present at the event. Thank you to all the sponsors Isaac Hall Group , Polk County Sheriff office, thank you to all of our 21 vendors, Jeff Breedlove, Jax Branton Band, and thank you to all the peers and volunteers who showed up ! Oh and let’s not forget Snack Shack Snow Cones for showing up to cool us off a bit. It was a great day for Recovery in Polk County!

Just a reminder our office will be closed tomorrow. We have provided numbers on the flyer if you are in an emergency or crisis.

Rising Sun Recovery extends our sincere appreciation to Governor Brian Kemp for officially proclaiming September 2026 as National Recovery Month in Georgia.

This proclamation recognizes that recovery is possible, treatment and peer support work, and more than 900,000 Georgians are living in recovery from addiction. It also reminds us that education and awareness are essential to reducing the stigma and discrimination experienced by individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.

Thank you, Governor Kemp, for recognizing the strength of Georgia’s recovery community and honoring the individuals, families, peer specialists, treatment professionals, and community partners who make recovery possible every day.
