Thanks to our awesome mosquito system, these little guys never make it to maturity! The party ends for them once they enter the Pupal stage (About 2 weeks here in Atlanta). Fun fact is that during the first week or so, they help to bring in other females by emitting chemical signals! The stations are already baited with yeast to attract the females, but it’s nice these little guys are helping out!

This is why I love topdressing. I’ve been treating this yard for years, and it’s always had a lot of potential — but aeration and topdressing took it to another level. After spreading 13 tons of material, the color is already deeper, the turf is fuller, and the whole lawn is starting to come together. It still has some filling in to do, but it’s headed exactly where we want it. A little more warm weather and this yard is going to be unreal! 05/05/2026

Pulling good cores is the key to the whole deal — that’s how we get sand and nutrients where they need to go, basically a direct injection of natural goodness to the root zone. This yard had been scorched by an herbicide application and is making a full recovery! Not going to lie I wasn't sure this yard was going to make it, but it turns out it just needed some natural love.
