In anticipation of tomorrow's Mid-Autumn Festival, the Chinese harvest festival, students congregated on the walkway outside of Barge Commons for traditional snacks, boba tea, and arts and crafts. Stopping between classes, Wildcats celebrated the upcoming holiday with mooncakes, origami, and camaraderie.

Last Friday, students gathered in The Blake Center for the annual JanTerm fair, showcasing all of the 2027 JanTerm opportunities, ranging from courses in Guitar Building to Food Chemistry to Sports Medicine.

Students spoke with faculty members to dive into curriculum and excursion details and other course questions before submitting their applications. Swipe to see highlights from the event.

Westminster students received a masterclass in the perfoming arts today, as we welcomed award-winning Broadway composer-storytellers Madison Thompson and Jacob Ryan Smith to campus. Joining classes in all three divisions and with the Upper School Musical Theater cast, the pair shared their expertise through live singing and instruction regarding storytelling, producing, singing, and acting.

What's been cooking on campus lately?👩🏼‍🍳

Our students have been utilizing some of our innovation spaces for their studies. Upper School students made French pastries in the Catalyst Lab, while pre-first practiced using tools in the Design Thinking Labs, with special help from President Jay Rainey, as part of their "Safety First" lesson.

School is in full swing, and our Middle and Upper School students are diving right into exploring their interests and passions through clubs and co-curricular activities. Upper School students visited the co-curricular fair, where they could learn more about the different offerings, ranging from debate to coding to choral music.

Our first all-school welcome brought together our students, faculty, and staff from every division to celebrate new beginnings, traditions, and the exciting year ahead. 🐾

Faculty from all three divisions shared their artistic talents with the Westminster community at the Visual Arts Faculty Show Reception yesterday. Filling Broyles Arts Center with paintings and sculptures, faculty members showcased their works, speaking with students and other faculty about their inspiration and process.

Visit Broyles Arts Center to view their pieces, which will remain on display for the next month.

Last Friday, we hosted the Battle of Buckhead on our home turf and recognized our past tennis champions with our Night of Champions celebration.

During the game against Lovett, we honored our state champion tennis teams from the 2025-26 athletic year and tennis legends from previous years. Thank you to everyone who came out to support! 💚

Congratulations to Westminster sophomore Arman Shpuza, who received Second Place in the Ninth-Grade Division at the Raytheon Technologies Invention Convention U.S. Nationals for his micro-hydropower project, Ampipe!

Prior to advancing to the national level—an opportunity awarded to only 500 students—Arman competed in the State Finals InVenture Prize at Georgia Tech, where he received the Constellation Energy Award and a Patent Application Award. Congratulations, Arman!
