Maximizing Atlanta’s biggest events for lasting local impact. Events → Economics → Community

Dragon Con is taking over Atlanta this Labor Day weekend.
From September 3–7, tens of thousands of fans, creators, performers and exhibitors will fill downtown for five days of cosplay, gaming, comics, music, art and community.
For local businesses, that means increased foot traffic, extended activity and new opportunities to welcome visitors throughout the weekend. Restaurants, retailers, hotels, transportation providers and personal service businesses should prepare now for the demand ahead.
When major events come to Atlanta, the goal is for them to happen with our city, not just in it.

Atlanta’s August concert calendar is bringing big crowds and new opportunities for local businesses.
Mumford & Sons kicks things off at State Farm Arena on August 4, followed by Olivia Dean on August 22 and AC/DC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 27.
These may be one-night shows, but their impact can extend well beyond the venues. Restaurants, retailers, hotels, transportation providers and other nearby businesses should prepare for increased traffic before and after each concert.
Plan ahead, make it easy for visitors to find you and be ready to welcome new customers all month long.
