While Mike Brendel (MB) started building race boats back in the 60s with his dad and uncle in Southern California, the MB Sports story starts in 1993. This is when Mike took the opportunity to start building boats that his whole family could enjoy. Congrats to Tommy Coleman on taking the men’s longboard title at the World Surf League in Huntington Beach. We got to meet and surf with Tommy this year at the Chris Ruddy Invitational and it was an absolute blast watching him ride. 🤙

Our dawn patrol may look a little different but it’s the same waves firing day after day. As a California raised brand, surfing has always been a way of life for many of us.
