🧺 MATILDA WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS COUNTS AS PACKING.

Because apparently after waiting around for a forever family, she's decided we are moving this process along. πŸ˜‚

"I packed myself. I don't see what else you people need from me."

This is Matilda.

Matilda is a sweet, snuggly little Beagle puppy who has officially climbed into the laundry basket and is READY FOR PICKUP.

No need to bring a carrier.

Just grab the basket.

We'll probably even let you keep it. πŸ˜‚

And honestly, Matilda comes with a much better rΓ©sumΓ© than most laundry:

🐾 Loves dogs of ALL sizes
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Uses a doggie door
🐾 Working on potty training
🐾 Loves toys and playing outside
🐾 Excellent snuggler
🐾 Can apparently fold herself

She also specializes in crawling right up into your neck for cuddles, which is significantly more useful than anything else currently sitting in your laundry basket.

HOW IS THIS DOG STILL AVAILABLE?!

If you've been watching Matilda and thinking, "Maybe..."

Matilda would like you to stop thinking.

SHE IS LITERALLY IN THE BASKET.

Apply already. πŸ˜‚πŸ’œ

And PRAR village β€” SHARE THIS GIRL! Somewhere out there is a family with an empty laundry basket and a Matilda-sized hole in their hearts.

πŸ“£ PRAR Village… PAUL STILL NEEDS US! πŸ“£

First, THANK YOU to everyone who shared Paul’s last post. It worked! Our sweet boy got an application AND a meet & greet! πŸ’œ

Unfortunately, when other dogs are part of the equation, sometimes it’s not entirely up to the puppy OR the potential adopters. The right fit has to work for everyone involved, and this time, it just wasn’t meant to be.

So… here we are again.

And apparently Paul got the news because LOOK AT THAT SECOND PICTURE. πŸ˜‚

πŸƒπŸ’¨ β€œEXCUSE ME?! I’M STILL AVAILABLE?! HOLD ON, I’M COMING TO FIND MY FAMILY MYSELF!”

Paul has now been waiting for his forever home for more than two months. All of his siblings have been adopted, and this sweet, scruffy little guy is still growing up in rescue.

We genuinely don't understand it.

He's adorable. He's goofy. He's cuddly. He loves toys and other dogs. He loves being with his people. And somehow those ridiculous little ears just keep getting better. πŸ˜‚β€οΈ

There is nothing wrong with Paul. He just hasn't found HIS people yet.

Last time, our village shared him enough to get him noticed. Can we please do it again?

Share him to your neighborhood groups. Share him with friends. Send him to that person who's been talking about getting a dog. Help us get this little face in front of as many people as possible.

And if you've been watching Paul and thinking, β€œMaybe he should be part of my family…” β€” please apply! Don't just keep watching and wondering. He's waiting for you. πŸ’œ

Paul's family is out there somewhere.

Let's go find them. πŸΎπŸ’œ

πŸ‘€πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I got nothin'...

Photos from Pawsitive Restorations Animal Rescue's post 08/08/2026

And then there was one. πŸ–€

One by one, we packed their little blankets. Kissed their fuzzy heads. Took the obligatory β€œGOING HOME!” photos. Watched wonderful families carry them out our door and into the rest of their lives.

went home. went home. went home. went home. is going home today.

And watched them all leave. πŸ˜”

Our last is still here.

In early May, six newborn puppies were found stuffed inside a Ziploc bag and dumped in someone’s front yard. Six tiny lives someone had decided were disposable.

But they lived.

They were bottle raised, swathed in enrichment, loved beyond measure, and even given a surrogate mama and four-legged aunties and uncles to teach them how to DOG. They are amazingly well-adjusted, smart, confident pups with INCREDIBLE temperaments.

She is now 12 weeks old. She absolutely loves people. She loves dogs. She crawls into your lap for lovies and, if you sit on the floor, will climb directly onto your back because apparently near you is unacceptable when ON YOU remains an option.

She’s confident, curious, smart, ridiculously food motivated, eager to please, and always ready to explore something new. She loves toys, tunnels, puzzle feeders, belly rubs and stealing things from other puppies with such polite determination that we prefer the term unauthorized toy redistribution specialist.

There is nothing β€œless adoptable” about Zia.

Nothing.

But Zia is black.

And black dogs can be overlooked in adoption settings, a phenomenon often referred to as Black Dog Syndrome. They can disappear in photographs and scrolling feeds while lighter-colored or flashier dogs catch someone’s eye first.

And watching every single one of Zia’s siblings get chosen while she waits makes that one sting a little harder.

So today, we need our Pack.

Not necessarily to adopt her.

We need you to make people SEE her.

See the baby who began life discarded inside a plastic bag and somehow emerged believing the whole damn world is worth exploring.

See the puppy who yipped excitedly the ENTIRE way up and down the stairs while learning them because apparently conquering Mount Staircase required live commentary.

See the soulful eyes. The wagging tail. The ridiculous personality. The incredible resilience.

See ZIA. πŸ‘€

Somewhere out there is the person who will look at this beautiful black puppy and wonder how in the hell everyone else missed her.

Maybe they just haven't seen her yet.

So let's fix that.

πŸ–€ PLEASE ZIA. πŸ–€

Share her across Colorado. Share her with your dog-loving friends. Share her into the Facebook wilderness and let the algorithm gods sort it out.

Five Ziploc Babies have gone home.

One little survivor is still waiting.

After everything it took to get her here, we're not letting her story end with being overlooked.

Let's find Zia her family.

SHARE THE BLACK DOG. πŸ–€

Let’s make her absolutely impossible to overlook.

πŸ’œ PUPDATE On our Potato Princess πŸ›€

is A-okay despite... herself after last night's little adventure.

I am seeing no signs of aspiration.

I AM, however, seeing signs that this beautiful explorer learns lessons.

After making sure she was ok, I resumed my "relaxing?" soak. πŸ₯΄

Thelma stayed close(ish) but maintained a respectful distance from the tub. 🚫 She did not approach it again.

Seeing the pitifully remorseful look on Thelma's face, our sweet lil' , came over and licked her wet coat, offering gentle emotional support.

And then, apparently, physical support as well when Thelma rested her giant wet head on Squish for moral support. πŸ₯Ή

's New Skill, Part 3 - The One Where She Tried To πŸ’€ πŸ₯΄

Yep.

It happened.

She slipped and fell in. (Or, at least the front half of her fell in.)

It was all fun and games for 4 seconds until I realized she couldn't get her head back above water and she was drowning. 😳

Video stops *ABRUPTLY* where I yeeted the phone across the bathroom to save the damn dog.

(You don't need to see that part)

We are now on aspiration watch because Thelma has impulse control issues.

WHYYYYYYYY are Bulldogs like this?! πŸ₯΄

's new trick, Part 2

Mmmm. No.

Definitely not feeling so good about this new skill the agile potato has acquired. 😳

😬 New skill unlocked... Part 1

What's the over/under on me getting a relaxing soak in the tub tonight?

Stay tuned...

β˜€οΈ WARNING: Side effects of this post may include smiling uncontrollably, questioning everything you thought you knew about dog breeds, and little pains in your puppy uterus that scream - ! πŸ•ΆοΈπŸΎ

Remember sweet ? The tiny little 22-pound mama who's owner tossed her out like trash when she got pregnant, then raised her babies safely here in rescue like the absolute superhero she is?

Well... the day we've all been waiting for is finally here.

Mama Desi and her SIX amazing kiddos are officially accepting adoption applications! ❀️

Born in rescue on May 21, 2026, these puppies have never known fear, hunger, or life in a shelter. From the moment they took their first breath, they've been surrounded by love, enrichment, confidence-building adventures, socialization, and all the tiny life lessons that help puppies grow into incredible family dogs.

And then...

We did a DNA test.

Friends...

We weren't prepared. 🀣

These puppies aren't just a mixed breed. They're practically an entire family forest.

🌳 NINETEEN. DIFFERENT. BREEDS.

Mini American Shepherd.
Australian Shepherd.
Chihuahua.
Australian Cattle Dog.
Yorkie.
Labrador.
Chow Chow.
Cocker Spaniel.
Pit Bull Terrier.
Border Collie.
Alaskan Malamute.
Great Dane.
..and somehow we still weren't done. πŸ˜‚

They've even got a little Siberian Husky, Golden Retriever, Mini Poodle, Carolina Dog, Central Asian Ovcharka, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Fijian Street Dog sprinkled into the recipe.

At this point we're convinced Mother Nature just walked down the DNA buffet saying, "Yes... I'll have a little of everything."

And she absolutely nailed it! πŸ’ͺ

Each puppy has developed their own wonderfully unique personality.

πŸ’™ Dalton is our low-riding little charmer who believes every adventure is better with friends.

πŸ’œ Darius is thoughtful, observant, and quietly wins hearts everywhere he goes.

πŸ’š Denver is the happy-go-lucky little sunshine who greets every day like it's the best one ever.

🩷 Destiny is confident, clever, and always ready to see what exciting thing comes next.

🧑 Dakota our happy-go-lucky, confident, perfectly balanced smarty pants baby girl who just loves EVERYONE!

And then there's...

πŸ–€ Mama Desi.

The sweetest little soul you've never met.

After everything she's been through, she still believes people are wonderful. She adores children, loves other dogs, is beautifully mannered, completely house trained, and somehow manages to make everyone she meets feel like they've been friends forever.

Watching this family grow has been one of the greatest joys we've experienced this year.

Now we're hoping the next chapter belongs to seven very lucky families.

If you've been waiting for your perfect companion...

They've been waiting for you, too. ❀️

, , , , , and ...are officially looking for forever homes.

🐾 Delaney will be available in a couple of weeks when she is spayed

Visit the addy on their AMAZINGLY FUN Family photo below to read more about this little family and apply to adopt today!

If you can't adopt, please to help these seven amazing kiddos find their perfect forever families! πŸ™πŸ’œπŸΎ

P.S. We have to give BIG BIG BIG Applause to Puparazzi by Christy Hess Photography for knocking these babies photos out of the PARK!!! I'll go into more and show you more of them soooon! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
