This was from a wonderful trip to France. Vincent van Gogh spent one year in this mental hospital in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Despite his unstable mental health, he was very productive: he made about 150 paintings in a year. Getting to see the hospital where he found rest from the world, was so inspiring.

Our Mosaic Multicultural Festival is coming up on September 12th from 11-4 pm at the CAC!

Each year, we bring together local organizations, artists, businesses, and food vendors to provide our community with a taste of the world.

It's our way of celebrating the many amazing cultural traditions that enrich our area.

Today, we are very excited to reveal the next three of our FOOD vendors who will be attending this year (We still have room for a few vendors. So, if you are interested please apply):

Cammie's Sweet Treats & More will be bringing homemade, southern, desserts.

Returning Mosaic Multicultural Festival favorite, Levi's Jerk Pit, will be serving Jamaican classics including Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and Sweet Plantain; Jerk Pork; and Jerk Ribs.
..and Kona Ice will have their Kona Ice cups in Klassic Size & King Size. The will have 10 Self-serve flavors including sugar free and dye free options.

Hey friends! Ever wanted to enter a photo contest with your favorite photographs? Now is your chance! Deadline extended to Sept 6 to apply. For Seniors or students only $10 to apply and one will be automatically accepted! $25.00 for all others which includes a membership to the Cultural Arts Council. The judge will decide if the other 2 will be accepted. Great prize money for the winner. Awesome reception and have your work exhibited for a month in the Cultural arts Center.
