ILTACON’s theme this year is “Broadway to Broadway.” When we chose a framed gold record celebrating Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs—with 9 to 5 also making its way to the Broadway stage—for our raffle, the connection felt perfect.
We never imagined we would be sharing it during a week when the world would lose her.
Here in Nashville, the record has come to feel like more than a giveaway. It’s a small tribute to Dolly’s extraordinary talent, generosity, humor, and unmistakable Tennessee spirit.
