Happy Toes

But first, nail trims — then naps 💤

We recommend nail trims for cats are every 3-4 weeks and here’s why we want to avoid long nails:
💊They can curl into their pad causing pain and potential infection requiring a vet visit and antibiotics
🛋️They can get caught on furniture, toys, bedding and blankets causing them to break or get stuck
😫 They can cause irritation and make walking uncomfortable and cause them to chew on their nails

The truth is, not every nail trim is created equal! Some pets tolerate it, some could care less while being fed their favorite treat and others absolutely dread it and say “heck no”. Ruby girl is THE sweetest girl, but she hates her nails done! After several failed attempts and having her mom consult with her vet a few times, we finally were able to make a recommendation for the perfect cocktail of medications to get her relaxed enough to have a successful nail trims. We strive to help pets have a calm and controlled experience and we are willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen — because the one thing that is equal for us is the love, comfort and consideration we take when grooming pets! Got a pet that’s tough to work with? We are up for the challenge and have the patience, grace and love it takes to work with them! ❤️
