Firecracker Smile HQ would like to wish founding members David Robbins and Darryl Robbins a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

As our Stone Temple Pilots tribute band rolls through year 5, the bros rock on as bass and guitar (just like Robert and Dean) for the most dangerous STP tribute in Texas!

Thanks for keeping this amazing music front and center in the tribute scene in Austin and beyond! Keep rockin’!

WE LOVE IT when Music in Motion Photography, LLC's Aime Elise Alexander reports in that her like-new laptop is finally able to start crankin' out photos from our sold out show last Thursday at Mohawk Austin!

Firecracker Smile had a massive final week of July - we are still recovering!

A week ago today, we hit the stage at Haute Spot, opening a sold out show for the great Back in Black, in front of +2k fans of AC/DC, and who gave us a rousing show of support as Stone Temple Pilots fans themselves! Our biggest show yet!

That following Thursday, another absolutely killer performance to a sold out crowd who was very ready to rock out from the first band to the last at Mohawk Austin with fellow tribute acts Three Legged Dog and Dankeshön: Nirvana Tribute Band!

This show was wall-to-wall grunge and 90’s rock tribute! All the patrons singing along to all the songs from all the bands, and we absolutely fell in love with all of them!

A very special thank you to Edan and the rest of the Mohawk crew for their gracious and professional work - they run a great ship and we would love another run with them in the future.

Gratitude for the other bands for having us burn down a stage with them!

And an extra-special thank you to Music in Motion Photography, LLC’s Aime Elise Alexander for jumping in last minute to document the intensity, and of course, the great skill and pro work from Td Lep and TD Music Marketing - her efforts to support the show helped make this thing not just good, but GREAT!

In August, the Firecracker team is gonna take a l’il time to celebrate a few birthdays, prep for upcoming shows in September, and what lies ahead for Q4 and beyond, so stay tuned!
