Lord, teach me to cultivate good fruits through my words and actions.
Lord, teach me to cultivate mercy and show compassion to all.
Lord, teach me to cultivate peace with honesty and just decisions.
Lord, teach me to cultivate love through sacrifice for greater good.
Lord, teach me to cultivate humility and give you honor and praise!

When I think about serving God or serving the world, it is easy to choose to serve God.
I think about the things I love in life and it includes my family and friends.
I think about the things I love to do and it includes being outside, enjoying nature.
These things are of God; the things I love the most in life were created by God.
The world can’t even compete.
The word stewardship is generally one associated with the church in relation to giving money.
However, stewardship is more than money; it includes giving of your time and gifts.
Your stewardship is giving in return for what has been given to you.
I prefer stewardship to the demands and expectations of the world; honestly who joyfully pays their taxes???

Heck, there could be things you did last week which you’d like no one to know about.⠀⠀
God knows. He knows all of it. He could give more detail about it than you even remember!⠀⠀
God doesn’t care about your faults or your misgivings or your mistakes.⠀⠀
He loves you. ⠀⠀
He has forgiven you.⠀⠀
He knows all of it and you are forgiven.⠀

Creator God,
Tend to my heart.
Teach me to scatter mercy and joy like weeds;
to sow peace where there is turmoil;
sprinkle truth where there is confusion;
and spread seeds which take root in YOU
Cultivate in me a pure heart!
