Noble Visions

Some photographs become more meaningful with time. Noble Visions is deeply honored to share that Josh Timmermans has been asked to contribute photographs to the upcoming two-hour television special, CMA Presents: I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton.

The images come from an especially meaningful night in Country Music history — the final time Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers performed together, during Kenny’s 2017 farewell celebration in Nashville.

At the time, I knew I was photographing two extraordinary friends and two true icons sharing a stage. I could never have imagined that, years later, those photographs would be called upon to help tell part of Dolly’s story and honor the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.

Dolly Parton’s influence reaches far beyond the songs. She gave generations of people music to carry with them, built bridges across genres and communities, and used her success to create opportunities for others — perhaps nowhere more beautifully than through the millions of children reached by her Imagination Library.

To have my photographs play even a small role in celebrating that life and legacy is incredibly humbling.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work directly with the Dolly Parton Estate, the Country Music Association, ABC, Disney+ and Hulu as these images are prepared for the special. More than anything, I’m grateful that I happened to be standing there with a camera on that unforgettable night when Dolly and Kenny shared a stage together one final time.

Some moments you photograph.

Others, you eventually realize you were entrusted to preserve.

Fans of The New Mastersounds! How about this for a throwback. Working in our archives, and had a recent conversation with a friend about this show. Captured on June 1, 2011 at The Southgate House. Check out Eddie Roberts and the long hair and outfit!! Such a flashback to before the band took off in the states!

Enjoy!

We all are going to miss you dearly Dolly Parton. You were the epitome of a pure soul and genuine human! Thank you for being so kind to me (Josh Timmermans) during our time creating art together. I will never forget the way you entered, and left a room. You always made everyone around you feel extremely special. Thank you for the trust...artist to artist! Night 3 of Widespread Panic in Atlantic City was full of smiles and reflection. Noble Visions & Josh Timmermans are honored to have worked as close artistic collaborators with Widespread since 2009. Even though we are moving on to pursue bigger and more intense creative challenges, we will continue to work with the band at Mempho Music Festival & Panic en la Playa with our Mempho Presents & Cloud 9 Adventures clients. This isn't a goodbye.....it's more of a launch into a much more expansive creative future. A future full of endless artistic and creative opportunities in space and time.

Night two of Widespread Panic in Atlantic City was a vibe. Moments were captured, memories were made, and time moved on. A look into the energy of the night.

Wishing Jake Cinninger of Umphrey's McGee all the best as he steps away from the band. It has been an epic ride to say the least. Many well wishes on this new chapter of life. Let's look back on some special moments with Jake over the past 10-15 years.

A few selects from the St. Vincent set on the main stage at RiverBeat Fest. So much respect for this artist and her stage presence. A true artist in every sense of the word. Her performance was one of the finest of the weekend in Memphis.

Additional artist galleries from the weekend are on the way!
