🚩 Not exactly compelling.
Instead, connect 3 things:
THE COMPANY → THE ROLE → YOU
Example:
“I’ve been following the company’s growth in X, and I’m particularly interested in this role because it would allow me to use my experience in Y to help with Z.”
That shows you’ve done your homework AND understand why your experience is relevant.
💡 Avoid making your entire answer about what the company can give YOU.
Talk about the overlap between what they need and what you bring.

You don’t need to have it all figured out yet. You just need to believe you’re already enough to go after it.
