Austin Ignite

There’s no place like home 🏠

For Austin Ignite’s Meredith Geiger-Walton, competing in Austin brought every part of her life together on one court: athlete, coach, wife, mom, and Director of Racquet Sports at Austin Country Club.

In our latest blog, Meredith reflects on representing her hometown, competing in front of her family and club members, and why the pursuit of improvement never has an expiration date.

“Playing at home reminded me that competition isn’t separate from the other parts of my life. It connects them.”

No expiration date ⭐

Austin Ignite arrived in Dallas undefeated and left with a first-place Prime 40+ finish.

For Nicole Pitts, the weekend was about more than the result.

A former professional tennis player and pediatric sports medicine physician, Nicole reflects on competing under pressure, the support she’s found within the Champions Series, playing in her own backyard, and the opportunity to continue competing at a high level.

“Being an athlete doesn’t have to have an expiration date.”
