Wheelchair rugby has been part of my life for more than 20 years, and it’s time for my annual fundraiser to support the NRH MedStar United Wheelchair Rugby team.

Running a competitive wheelchair rugby team takes real resources. Tournament travel adds up quickly, rugby chairs and equipment need constant maintenance, and there are plenty of other costs involved in getting a full team onto the court throughout the season.

This fundraiser helps NRH MedStar United cover those expenses and stay competitive in the league. With our upcoming season approaching, that support is crucial.

I’ve set an initial goal of $500. If you’re able to donate, any amount will help my teammates and me keep doing what we love. If you can’t donate, sharing this post with others would also be greatly appreciated.

I’m raising money with NRH MedStar United to support MedStar NRH Adaptive Sports. These programs help children and adults with physical disabilities participate in recreational and competitive sports.

Wheelchair rugby has been part of my life since 2005. I know firsthand how much adaptive sports can offer, from competition and confidence to friendships and community.
