I stepped in front of the camera for my first acting role.

“Wake Up” came together in just a few days, but seeing how people are responding to it has been pretty wild. Really glad I got to be part of a team that moved fast, trusted each other, and made something that’s landing.

Easterseals Disability Film Challenge Beata Pozniak

While at I got to see a ton of great and surprising shows, but most of the time I forgot to take pictures. I did however grab a few shots of a great show by and another surprise performance by **kingandre, which was awesome.

WAKE UP. Just last week, I had the opportunity to do my first acting role. I joined Beata Pozniak's team for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge short film contest to bring "Wake Up" to life, which was just released today!

This was a whirlwind of an experience, where the piece was written, filmed, and put through post-production in just over 3 days (which I'm told is not normal for the film industry).

I've been looking at the a lot differently the last couple days.

I’ve never felt like I belonged in the room.

Not early in my career. Not now.

Turns out, that feeling doesn’t go away. And it’s not supposed to.

Imposter syndrome isn’t a flaw. It’s a signal that you’re doing something new, something bigger than where you’ve been.

I stopped trying to get rid of it. I started using it.

I had an amazing time at this year and saw some amazing shows. This one with and at was incredible and way more than I expected, with their dual and the dj set afterwards, my friends and I were blown away.

A new wave of investors is entering the space industry.

That’s exciting. But it also comes with risk.

Space is one of the most nuanced and capital-intensive sectors in technology. Without a real understanding of the ecosystem, it’s easy to make bets that look compelling on a slide deck but don’t hold up over time.

I’ve seen enthusiastic investors get burned, walk away from the sector, and decide space simply isn’t investable.

The problem usually isn’t the industry. It’s the lack of context.

I wrote about why understanding the space economy is becoming the real edge for investors entering the sector.

For most of history the answer has been a tiny, very specific group of people. But if we are serious about becoming a spacefaring civilization, that has to change.

Accessibility cannot be something we bolt on later. It has to be part of the design from the start.

What does accessible spaceflight look like to you?

For most of my life, I made decisions based on positioning. Career upside. Optics. Financial leverage. Long-term strategy. The goal was always to put myself in the strongest possible place for what might come next.

Over the last few years, I’ve changed the weighting. I still think about those things, but I’ve started asking a different question when faced with a meaningful choice: when I look back on this, which option will I regret least?

I call it regret-based decision making. It’s not perfect. It doesn’t override responsibility. And it doesn’t magically eliminate uncertainty. But it has fundamentally changed how I approach work, relationships, difficult conversations, and opportunity.

None of us know our timeline. I just don’t want to get to the end wishing I had said more, tried more, or shown up differently.

Over the last few days at a conference, one theme kept surfacing:

"How do we actually build a sustainable, functioning space economy?"

Infrastructure. Capital. Policy. Talent. All critical.

But there’s a missing layer most people aren’t talking about.

If the public does not understand space as infrastructure, not spectacle, long-term sustainability becomes fragile.

So I’m moving this piece up in the queue.

If we want a durable space economy, we need cultural gravity around it. Not hype. Not fear. Real relevance.

I’m willing to help organize the first working group if there’s serious momentum behind an industry-wide Initiative.
