www.facebook.com/groups/promiselandprayer Our Identity: We are
A Spirit-filled and Spirit-led church with a high view of Scripture. A faith-family of believers united by covenant in Christ, governed by the Holy Bible and motivated by love. Our Vision: We see
We see PromiseLand as a church chosen by God to raise up an army of Holy Spirit empowered witnesses of Jesus Christ in preparation for His coming Kingdom. Each believer must be matured into their ministry and deployed to carry the gospel message to every place on earth, beginning at Austin. Our Mission: We must
We must offer every living person the opportunity to become a disciple of Jesus Christ and to partner with His purpose in the earth. Our Values: We value
* We value God, seeking to worship and glorify Him together; and entertain His Presence among us.
* We value People, seeking to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God and each other. We must honor and defend the image of God in every human being; and especially in every believer. Injustice demands action. Evil demands rebuke. Love produces sacrifice.
* We value truth, seeking to rightly understand, proclaim and obey the Holy Bible as God’s final Word on every spiritual and practical matter.
* We value our heritage; seeking to embrace the richness of our revivalist roots in the American Pentecostal faith tradition out of which we were conceived. For more than half a century, our church has served as both an emblem (to the world) of this outpouring, and as a beacon (to the church) of how effective cultural engagement can look—without compromising the core of our message or expression. By God’s grace we can lead the way for other believers, setting an example of faithful fervency and dynamic, passionate worship that is grounded in a Spirit-filled expression, while pioneering and embracing the cutting-edge of methodological progress in our evangelistic approach.

Chaos may be loud.
But God’s peace is stronger and steadier.
You don’t have to match the noise around you. You don’t have to let uncertainty dictate your posture.
There is a peace that can hold you steady when everything around you feels like it’s shifting.
Stay anchored.
You keep waiting for a sign like Moses got…
🗣️Newsflash: if you’ve got the Holy Ghost, YOU are the burning bush. 🌳🔥

The promise was never that there would be no battle. The promise was that the battle would not determine your position.
We often think, “If God would just change my circumstances, then I could finally rest.”
But biblical peace isn’t produced when everything around you is calm. It comes from knowing who you belong to.
The pressure may be real. The battle may be raging. But your position in Christ is stronger than your circumstances.
You don’t have to escape the storm to stand secure in it. Peace is a superpower the enemy has no answer for.

You can’t play it safe and win a war. Faith was never about staying comfortable.
There are moments when you have to step out, stand up, speak up, and trust God with what happens next.
Stop playing defense with the life God called you to live.
