Mama Jasmine is a sweet white scruffy girl, dad was an adorable Boston Terrier, and their babies are ridiculously cute. Our Grease-themed litter will be ready to find their forever homes soon!

We adopted Emmy out as a puppy, and recently we got a call that her family could no longer keep her.

Life changes. And when it does, we do everything we can to be there for the dogs we once promised to protect.

So Emmy came back to us — and we started looking for the right next chapter.

And boy, did we find it. ❤️

Emmy headed north and landed with the most wonderful family, where she has a canine sibling to snuggle with, a dad who clearly already adores her, and a home that feels like it was waiting for her all along.

Sometimes rescue isn’t a straight line. Sometimes we get to save them twice.

Happy new beginning, sweet Emmy. You’ll always be one of ours. 🐾❤️

Howdy Austin area!✨
This adorable boy needs a foster in the Austin area stat! He is wonderful - playful and very friendly. He is a great size - around 25-30lb and around 3y old. He is stuck in boarding - can someone please help - his buddy leaves this weekend and he will be alone. We are calling him Eddie (Munster) but you can pick a new name if you'd like :)

Mama Bunny had her shoulder restitched today....she is back home and nursing her babies (photo is pre appt). How gorgeous are they? They will be available later in October and we will be doing pre adoptions! If interested, please send in an adoption form asap - they are not on the site yet, but we will reach out to you soon! Well our sweet newcomers Mitzi and Yeti don't look too happy to be at the vet office today, but we know that secretly they just can't believe they are finally getting some TLC!✨✨

These two lived on the streets....Yeti was attacked by a guy with a machete...they both have heartworms....and yes, we are working on the skin issues. Both are already looking better. We are going to need an Austin foster for both of them - please reach out to help! We pay for all medical and find families - they are pure souls that deserve a second chance. 🌈🌈🌈Some rescue photos never leave you. This was one of them.

We saw Baloo sitting in a terrible shelter in Mexico, looking defeated and unsure of the world around him. That photo haunted us.
Getting him out of Mexico and all the way to Austin was a long, complicated journey, but somehow we did it.

When Baloo first arrived, he didn’t quite know if people could be trusted. He was gentle and sweet, but cautious. Little by little, he learned that he was safe.

And then he got the life we had hoped for him.✨🩵

He found a wonderful family. He found a best dog friend. He found toys and soft beds and adventures and people who adored him. He learned what it meant to belong.✨🩵

This week, Baloo passed away, and this one hurts.

But when we look at that first shelter photo and then look at the life he went on to have, we are reminded why we keep doing this, even when rescue breaks our hearts.
Baloo did not die in that shelter. He did not leave this world unwanted or alone.
He left it as someone’s beloved dog.

Rest easy, sweet Baloo. You were so loved. And you will never, ever be forgotten. ❤️ (Thank you Isabel for being his advocate - none of this would have happened without you.)

Update!! Shania just wanted to let all her fans know she's enjoying all the creature comforts of her new life...air conditioning, yummy food and TLC. 🩷

Look who is on her way to Austin -the sweet mom who gave birth at the border bridge....her shoulder gash has been taken care of and her foster parents are anxiously awaiting this family's arrival! 🩵
