This family saw what most people miss, a 1934 home doesn't need to be erased to feel new. Our work for them was knowing what to keep. We deliberately choose only what would operate in tandem with the original character.

A thread of blue through every frame. Frosted glass lighting custom bookshelves from behind. A blown-glass table base in teal, glassware paintings in cool blue, colored panels set into dark steel shelving. We love when one color becomes a through line.

We think the measure of a home is how it treats the people who visit it. In this home remodel, the bar passage welcomes you with reclaimed floors and a glimpse of hewn beams beyond. The guest bath wraps you in veined stone from floor to ceiling, with a sculptural bronze pendant and a skylight overhead. And the guest bedroom keeps things quiet on purpose: soft linen, a carved figure on a stack of books, trees framing the window. The kind of stay you remember long after you leave.

Even the powder room tells a story. Aged subway tile, a bare Edison bulb, fresh flowers on the pedestal sink. At Oseyo, even the smallest pause in your evening feels like coming home.

Some things can't be replicated digitally. The warm, familiar scent of paper and aged bindings filling a room is one of them. We designed these custom bookshelves with open steel-and-wood framing so the collection breathes, lives, and greets you the moment you step between the stacks.

Lake living at its purest. Wood-slat ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, rough charcoal brick... we designed this lakeside retreat for a young couple who wanted nature and contemporary living to feel like one seamless thing.

This couple moved from a traditional West Austin home into highrise living, and every detail of the W Penthouse was meant to honor both worlds. The ebonized wood table, with its raw, wire-brushed surface, brought the warmth of something organic. The mimosa blooms, the clear vase, the coffee table book... together they feel like a home that's been lived in and loved, not just styled and photographed.

Where making and playing are the same thing. A rolling drafting table, pencils at the ready, and a baby swing suspended from a library ladder... this studio for the creative in the family captures exactly what we set out to build in this Hyde Park Bungalow renovation. Simple, livable, and deeply personal.

Designed for a perpetual traveler, Rabb Road was always meant to be a place worth returning to. Sophisticated enough to leave. Serene enough to come back. Art books, a figurative painting, a fern in a ceramic pot. The entry foyer at Rabb Road tells the story of a life fully lived without a single unnecessary detail. Every object earned its place.
