I am celebrating something that took me way too long to do. 🎉💜
I recorded the welcome video for the Fit Mama Method today.
Only took me a month. 😂
I wish I could tell you I woke up motivated and confident and just knocked it out. But that is not what happened.
What happened is I put it off. And put it off. And put it off some more. Told myself it wasn't the right day. The lighting wasn't right. I didn't know what to say. I wasn't ready.
Sound familiar? 😂
And then today I just did it. Imperfectly. Nervously. Not perfectly lit and not perfectly scripted. Just me talking to the camera about something I genuinely built from my heart for women like you.
And it felt amazing. 💜
Drop a 🙋♀️ if you've been putting something off that you know you need to do!
This may not seem like a big deal but if you struggle with food noise you'll get it!!

Your doctor can tell you your labs are normal and you can still feel absolutely terrible. Both things are true.
And I need you to hear that today because so many women in perimenopause are being dismissed. Told their bloodwork looks fine. Told their hormones are in range. Told there's nothing wrong.
While they're exhausted beyond explanation. Gaining weight despite doing everything right. Experiencing brain fog so thick they can't finish a sentence. Crying for no reason. Waking up at 3am with a racing heart. Feeling like a completely different person than they used to be.
Normal labs do not mean you are not struggling. They mean the conventional medical system is using ranges designed for the average population, not for YOU in THIS specific season of your hormonal life.
Perimenopause is a transition. And transitions are messy. And complex. And deeply personal. And they do not always show up neatly on a standard blood panel.
You are not making it up. You are not being dramatic. You are not weak or lazy or crazy.
You are a woman in perimenopause whose body is asking for a different kind of support than what you've been offered. 💜

Quick Total Body Dumbbell Circuit
Stop waiting for a 30-minute window that never comes. Three 10-minute movement breaks do more for you than one long workout you keep putting off. 💜
You don't need a perfect routine to feel good again mama. You just need a consistent one.
Something beats nothing. Every single time. 💜

I want to share a win that might not look like a win at first. ☕💜
I'm a tracker. Always have been. And for a long time I thought tracking was the only thing standing between me and completely going off the rails.
Without my app open I felt out of control. Anxious. Like one untracked meal would unravel everything.
But last week I wasn't tracking consistently. And you know what happened?
I didn't go off the rails. 😮
I made mostly good choices. I hit my protein most days. I moved my body. I listened to my hunger cues. I trusted myself.
And that felt like everything. 💜
Because that's actually the goal. Not to be dependent on tracking forever. But to build habits so deeply ingrained that your body just knows what it needs. To trust yourself enough to make good choices even when nobody is watching and no app is counting.
Tracking is an incredible tool. But YOU are the goal. Your instincts. Your habits. Your relationship with your body.
Last week I got a little glimpse of that. And I am so grateful. 💜
Drop a 🙋♀️ if you're a tracker who feels lost without it, let's talk about this! 👇
Consistency over perfection. Every time. That's the whole method.
Save this for the next time you feel like it's not enough. It is. 💜

Today I am grateful for getting back to my non negotiables. 💜
I was sick over the weekend. Barely ate. Definitely did not hit my protein. And honestly my body felt every single bit of it by Monday.
Low energy. Brain fog. Mood completely off. That heavy sluggish feeling that makes everything feel harder than it needs to be.
And it was such a good reminder of how much protein actually does for us in perimenopause.
Not just for muscle. Not just for fat loss. But for energy. Mood. Mental clarity. Blood sugar stability. The ability to actually function like a human being throughout the day. 😂
So this week I got back to basics. Hit my protein at every meal. Got my minerals back in. Took my small steps forward.
And the difference in how I feel today versus Monday is not even comparable. 💜
Protein is not optional in perimenopause mama. It is the foundation that everything else is built on.
Drop a 🙋♀️ if hitting your protein goal is your biggest struggle. Let's talk about it! 👇
